So last weekend there was the Sheep and Horse round-up and it was AMAZING! 😍🐎🐑🐏🇮🇸 I had a lot of fun joining our hiking group watchingand helping getting the sheep and horses from the highlands on Friday and the sorting on Saturday. 😊 My muscles are still sore from sorting the sheep but I got 22 to their owners! 💪🏻🐏 (Compared to others and the total number being around 10.000 sheep it is not a lot but I did my best and also helped others) 😂💪🏻😁 And we had a blast at the Party Saturday night. 😁🎉🎊 My greatest respect for all the Icelanders who get up at 5 or 6 o'clock on these days, walking all these kilometers to get the sheep (the summer pasture is 30km×20km big!), then sort the horses and sheep the next day and have enough energy to party on Saturday night until 3am on Sunday. 😎👍🏻 #Iceland #Island #Ísland #SheepRoundUp #Schafabtrieb #Smölun #HorseRoundUp #Pferdeabtrieb #SheepRoundUp2019 #Schafabtrieb2019 #Smölun2019 #HorseRoundUp2019 #Pferdeabtrieb2019 #Fun #Spaß #Gaman #Sheep #Schafe #Kindur #Horses #Pferde #Hross (hier: Brekkulaekur Guesthouse) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2NN3lNgzU2/?igshid=1xpmyycp6pi0q
