sorry it took me so long to reply, perfectionism and overthinking at its finest as well as this actually stumped me for a moment because my first thought was, they just are.

But I’ve come to the conclusion after some research, and discussion with friends, that veins on a guy are sexy because it's shows to (speaking from a female perspective) but;

Veins become more prominent when blood is flowing, so to us its seen from a hormonal perspective of like of health. I don't want to neglect any genders here (I'm sure other genders relate too), but from a female biological perspective, veins are attractive to women the same way breasts are attractive to men.

Also but like Mattheo just has fucking sexy arms. Every time he rolls up his sleeves and flicks his wrist, to cast an incantation. Those fucking babies would be popping. You wouldn't be able to take your eyes off them, fiddling with your quill, mouth parted as you gaped at them. Just imagining him using his strong arms to push you up against the wall aghhhh fuck me

Or when he's writing at his desk the fucking blood flow would be in his hands and oh my lord, they're just so bloody sexy. and he'd know it too, not like he's trying to make them pop but once he catches you staring at them he'd flex his arms more around you; eg see below
