have any butch submissions surprised you? any new butches you're learning about?

a lot of the most popular submissions were characters i'd heard of before and kind of expected to make it on, though i definitely learned about a lot of new characters too! someone suggested ava from hide by kiersten white which really surprised me not because i hadn't heard of her but because i actually did read that book a little while ago and didn't think anyone else had lmao. a lot of characters only got one submission but did make me go "hellll yeah" so i might make some kind of honorable mentions list before i post the full bracket. whoever said kana nakamura from nichijou thank you for that i love mad science lesbians with my whole heart and soul and i am always up for learning about new ones. shoutout to jack from the wayward children series she fell in love with a blonde girl as a blonde girl which i kind of hate i thought the official art with them was of her with her sister but other than that she was like. literally tailor made to me as a character.
