I never could touch my toes until I was 23 years old I wanted to become more flexible and was inspired by dance contortion and acrobatics to become flexible. At 25 I achieve wrong form with me splits so I looked for help. At 27 I achieved middle and straddle I got pancake splits on New Years Day watching magic tricks on YouTube. Now I’m 32 and I still feel okay but not super flexible like the twenties! Even now I still have to work on maintaining my flexibility in my lower part of my body and strengthening the muscles down there. If it makes anyone feel better I don’t have front splits 😂 However, I notice as you get older it gets harder. Of course we all know you lose flexibility and bone strength and muscle as you age but we’re easy to lose flexibility faster in your legs flexible and strength. Think about the glutes and hamstrings how strong or weak are those muscles now. Sedentary life for our muscles hinder our performance. Having trouble learning splits?
