It’s going to be a while before I can share this project on other social media as it’s a gift but I wanted to share this original design for the puffin rock character
No lie I started this back in September of 2015! I have learned so much since and although I am happy it’s done it’s tough because there is so much I would do differently if I started it today.
Don’t do what I did and please please make sure all your different yarns are the same thickness not just the same size on the label for any colour work you do!
I am not able to post this to Ravelry as the image is not an original image but I have a pattern for it if people are interested. It includes a chart as well as row by row instructions in a crochet by the numbers type style (please know I did all the pattern building myself, no running the image though some program to spit out the written pattern 😭)
I think this might have to be the last stop motion crochet creations I do. Even if it was o my second one. They take forever and as I am trying to write up patterns and make things to sell wasting time might not be my best idea. But I hope you enjoy the video anyways lol
Long time no original post from me. This is my first finished project in a while. I have one almost done but I ran out of the yarn and the whole pandemic thing has made it tough to stock up on it.
Used the As Time Goes By square from Everytrickonthehook.com but made it a bit larger in Red Heart Ombré yarns (purple, aqua and grey). Love the way it came together with the black edging.
I have finished my first doll. I am just about done writing up the pattern. I plan on having this up on Etsy (once I open my store) and also on ravelry.
Would anyone be interested in being a pattern tester? If so send me a dm.
I had made a baby blanket a few years ago in these colours and ended up with a lot of left over yarn. That yarn sat not knowing what it would be until a couple weeks ago when I finally figured it out. I had just enough of the grey and white...one of the white squares was finished with a couple of the longer ends lol
Two out of the three complete (well 3.5 I have to make pascal and the owl and I bet they will be harder than I expect, and I also think I will make a Lance)
My reference photo. Feel free to judge how well I am adapting the characters or make suggestions.
Made my first wearable that I have actually worn (I don’t count my ugly Christmas sweater).
I ended up making the main body twice. It turned out a bit too big the first time and I tried doing more stripes with more colours that I didn’t end up liking.
I added the stripes in myself as they are not in the original pattern. It’s the Mountian Sweater from mermaidcat found on ravelry. It’s a paid pattern.
