He did spend the next day recovering from the “mean and scary” vet giving him a shot! But he’s back to his playful self now.

Do people wait until the last second to prepare for it? Like "oh we need insulation/faucet covers/sleds/WHATEVER" in the few days before it snows or whatever? Or do they like... have all that ready to go?

Because apparently, even if you KNOW that winter comes around (shockingly) every single year-- Apparently people in the south (and I've lived my whole life here so I know it's always been this) wait until the LAST. SECOND (like, once the snow or ice or whatever is in the actual forecast) to get their stuff.

Is that a "all humans are stupid" problem that exists everywhere or is it just me overthinking things?
