sorry I couldn't do the butchers daughter thing as soon as possible. i'm a lazy indiviual and to be honest with you this idea was the least thought out. Also I'm starting my last semester (hopefully) and I'm a bit depressed lol.

Anyway, maybe the reason i hate the fact that Peaky Blinders doesn't explore the full aspect of a character is because i've been spoiled by anime and games where characters are the main thing to make a media successful, not only from the sales of said media, cause people can pirate those, but also for merch.

Characters from game and anime are made not only so viewers could identify with the character and more invested but also for merch sales so they try to cram alot of charactization with a lot of character.

PB doesn't really need all that so I guess its fine if less characterization is fine. Most of their merch I've seen are just clothig and other items that meks the series iconic which isn't really that iconic (arguablly) since its just the time period's male fashion sense (and its not even the womens fashion). The silloute of the characters arent that interesting enough to be made into an action figure unless you're really attached to them.

I don't know the sales of the merch but I imagine it would be hard to sell. I only saw one of their collaboration with a gangster game and by the looks of the non existent interaction of the colab in their twitter

i'm still boomed about it. I mean we got a priest who used to be a snipper during the war and is a person of color in a predominantly white populous associated with a gang family. Wouldn't you want to know what he has to say or what he's been through?

this is just a ramble of a visual communication student who have 'designer thinking' drilled into her head. Art is still art after all, i'm just trying to rationalize the holes of characterization in the show left open.
