Episode 1: ♤AGGRESSIVE♤

{WHERE a young teen screams out her aggression with heavy death metal for a boy she barely knows.}

Aquamarine Hoshino was a strange type of person...

He was a liar, a scoundrel at best.

Yet he was a young man. With simple and unhinged desires.

Meeting you didn't change that.

What attracted him to you like a bear to honey? Was it your sweet smile and compliance? Or your features that made him feel like he was gonna melt into a puddle?

"Uh-umm, you okay?" Your voice captures his attention as you gave him an awkward smile.

"Yes." The blonde replied smoothly as he watched you nod unsurely.

"You were talking about how you felt bad for not getting in the assignment for one of your classes, right?"

You look at him blankly... Then, eruptly bang your head against your desk. Comically, whining as your female friend, laughs at you robotically.

"It's not funny!!" You cry fruitlessly.

Aqua studied you like a new breed of animal.

You weren't much of an attention bringer, yet so ordinary to the eye, while also being so secretive and polite.

People wanted to be close to you, good or bad.

He was one of those people.

Aqua believed it was possible that you held that 'star-power' that he, Ruby, and his mother had.

And you did.

But instead of showcasing it to the world with pride. You kept to yourself, going as far as tl screaming your lungs out a simple karaoke room across town.

Aqua.. Wanted to see you shine like Ai. But the selfish part of him relished the simplicity of your relationship with him.

Of course, it was held together by thinly veiled lies. But not so detrimental to his plans.

Deceiving had become easy, was this how Ai felt when she showed her "love"?

Aqua would never know. Yet he yearned to, one day.

"Hey, (Y/N)? Wanna join us for drinks at a new cafe we found?"

Aqua narrows his eyes slightly at your male friend. His blushing and humble appearance ticks the blonde off.

"Maybe it'll help you keep your mind off it?"

You groan miserably at your friend.

Aqua, used to this, expected you to decline. Yet raised your head and sighed.

Don't tell him you were considering-!

"Maybe another time.. You guys should go.. Lunch is almost over.." You mumble distracted and off into your own world.

"See you guys.."

You don't bother to get up as you shove your face back on the desk.

Your male friend eyes you worriedly as he says goodbye while your female friend taps something on her phone. Before glancing at you and Aqua.

"You'll get over it," she said simply, "you always do.." She sighed agitatedly before leaving the classroom too.

"She could of been a little nicer.." You grumble before leaning your back against the chair, a calm sigh leaving your lips as you pull out your school book.

"Hey.."

You look away from your task, giving your sorta, new, school friend, attention.

"Yeah? What's up?"

"If you need help studying, maybe you should-"

"Please don't give me advice," you said sweetly.

Ah.. He could tell your rage was rising.

Good.

"Sorry," he mutters, looking away.

Noticing his aloofness, you quickly scramble up an apology for him.

"Wait! I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean it!"

You try to back-track your words.

"It's just.. I'm suprised, you didn't really give advice.. So.."

"You think I'm not wise?" Aqua acted offended as you squeak and raise your hands, hoping for mercy.

"No-!"

"You know.. You can just ask the teacher for easier work." Aqua said in a monotone voice, hiding his smile as he sees your composure slightly crack.

"HAH... FUNNY JOKE." You grit out, your lips pulled together into a gummy smile.

Alright, Aqua knew when to quit, and he rather be kept in your good graces... For the mean time.

"I wanted to ask you something.." Aqua said seriously, his bright blue eyes giving off a small gleam.

You look at him expectedly and curious, capturing your full attention once more.

"Yeah..?"

You huff, exasperated at the end of the day. Your normal shoes padding down the pavement calmly as you stride with a purpose.

Finding yourself in front of a familiar Kareoke Club, the clerk nods to you.

"Party of one?"

...

Typing in the numbers to the kareoke machine, you take a single breath.

"WHAT. THE. HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL~!!!!!"

-aqua was buying some groceries for his sister and was walking past your stage, there he saw you: performing. you were singing your solo while singing / playing the {insert instrument}, it was in that moment you reminded him of ai. whether it was how happy and passionate you looked or how your eyes shined the same way hers did, he didn’t know.

-after that he would attend your concerts more often, supporting you whenever he can. eventually he’ll go to one of your handshake events and you two become more acquainted with each other. slowly, he’ll become a regular, someone who you now always see, someone you’re now familiar with, who’s now your dear friend, and one of your biggest fans. he’s always in the first row, waving his glowstick showing his support for you.

-after concerts you two hang out at a small cafe chatting about your day to day lives and your concert. sometimes he’ll come over and you’ll sing / play for him. unbeknownst to you, he has lots of merch from your concerts which rivals the amount he has of ai. going to the same school (since from what i remember all the idols, actors, etc go to the school he goes to) you two start to hang out a lot more, during lunch, during pe, and even walking home together.

Aqua is so hilarious man, first he dresses up as a duck cuz Kana won't talk to him. This one below was figured out by @usagiakane on twitter so I can't take credit for that

I feel like Ai and Hikaru have more in common with Akane and Aqua rather than him with Kana if I were being completely honest, but again these are very different dynamics but in a weird way past Hikaru reminds me of Akane like they even the same flustered sweat drops when they talk to their crushes.

And the scene where Ai said she understood he was lying,and the scene Akane said she'd go to hell with Aqua if that'd make him happy those are very different scenes but the meaning of understanding the other was more of less the same and Aqua and Hikaru had a similar shocked expression as well.

october first,

aquamarine hoshino; prompt 03: “you’re shivering. do you want my jacket?”

you hum as you wait for aqua, sitting on a park bench, swinging your legs back and forth, the cold now getting to you. you shiver as you feel the cool autumn breeze hit your skin now wishing you brought your sweater as you continue to softly hum to yourself. 

feeling a small tap on your shoulder, you jump.

“hey, i’m here” aqua waves to you smirking slightly at your startled reaction.

“aqua! you surprised me” 

you stand up going to stand by his side only to shiver feeling the breeze once again.

“you’re shivering,” he mutters rather abruptly.

“hm? what was that?”

he sighs softly, “it’s nothing” he thinks to himself for a moment before asking, “do you want my jacket?”

“huh?” you think you didn’t hear him right so you ask, “can you say it again?”

“you know what i said — here” he takes off his jacket wrapping it around you.

you chuckle softly, “was it that obvious?”

he scoffs, “obviously, now come on”

“mhm” with that the two of you walk off now going on your long awaited date.

My Favorite ch 143 panel Coloring

Aqua's expression here was such a good parallel with his past life as gorou , its the same person afterall....yet it was a sad one🥺🥺

With Gorou's color palette (kinda looks like taiki except the eyes)

Ch 143 really made Aqua-Gorou (yes they are the same person, same soul but different body) open up , Crow girl Tsukuyomi was right, he's a kind soul afterall...

I agree there's a lot of parallel...take interlude 4 for example

poor Gorou...such a pretty and kind smile he has🥺😭♥ However the one in 143 is more sadness. He cant see hope in his life , unlike here where his mood is lightened up with Sarina's hopefulness.

(the fact that most of them are when he's with Sarina)
