#guys ummm im obsessed with the new voyages #its critical im flatlining its terminal #captain’s log #tos #trek books #i want to post abt it so much but its just sooooo a product of its time in a good way and you can feel the love the writers have of trek and #its just like a little treasure to me #im reading it a lot slower too im just really enjoying it #one of the stories before this (SPOILERS) a woman trapped on aplanet was trying to get spock to follow her to a cave so she could talk to #him in private without being overheard (they were being watched by andorians) and so she goes about this like ‘mr spock 🥺 i need true loves #kiss im a princess turned wood nymph by an evil wizard’ which was SO funny #and obviously spock is like. no. but eventually he relents and follows her and shes laughing at him like mr spock! youre so hard to seduce! #and poor spock had to sit there like -_- cant even disagree #ALSO. spock is CANON patient zero for catboys #in one story he mindmelds with a huge tiger and it STICKS. HE LITERALLY BECOMES CATBOY NUMBER ONE
