The city was in a word, exhausted. To the businessman mumbling in his car about his reckless child, to the housewife who fed her newborn and wanted nothing more than to be back with her ex lover in wintery New York City.
However in the traffic down at I-49, the cars reported seeing a flash of red and orange.
A kid had screamed to his dads, all sitting impatiently in a white van, that it must have been the super monster, Arsonic.
The people in the freeway began to speculate, because where are the Astro Eight to save the day?
“Babe- BABE- I dunno. Just, give me ten minutes.” The businessman behind the van, tried to convince. He awkwardly and stiffly turned to his suitcase, trying to pop it open.
“Bull shit.” The woman replied. “If you’re not home I swear to the Stars—!”
The businessman gasped at the explosion of lava only a few yards away to his right.
“Baby I have to—,”
“DON’T YOU DARE HANG—!”
The man hung up. He shook out his hair and sighed before he quickly typed on his watch. Lazingly, he threw a pair of silk clothing from his suitcase to the passenger seat.
2678. Code Purple. It had been near a year since the last attack from a Seasonal Monster. He sighed, wiping his face from the hot sun blistering above him. No doubt it was fueling Arsonic’s powers.
He desperately didn’t want this to happen. But he chewed on his pinky, until he tasted copper.
A surge of red made way down his veins and his eyes lit up, the silk suddenly sticking to his body and he felt himself float. He stood out of his car, ripping open the hood with ease; and he sighed in relief as he revealed his green textured skin.
He yawned, a little too old to be doing this superhero stuff, but he needed to save the city. Even if he was exhausted.
Superhero!Jinjin levitated over his car, and readied his hands as they began to surrounded with a powerful green magic aura.
Until his phone rang, he clicked his watch.
“Sigmul.” He said with a harrumph.
“HYUNG!!” A voice screamed from the water. “I FORGOT MY MASK AT HOME!! I’LL BE LATE.”
Jinjin wished he never came to Earth with his brothers.
