If you have to make a podium of Olympic gold medallits, which gymnasts would you include? And for silver and bronze medallits?
I have a couple problems with this 1) Do you want me to make a ranking based on what my favorite gymnasts are or “objectively” in their gymnastics? 2) If you prefer the second option, do you want me to judge their Olympic performances or their careers overall?
Using the logic I have guessed it is imposible to judge “objectively” gymnasts coming from such different eras, it is very difficult to compare them even from a subjective perspective, so I’m taking that interpretation. So yes, I know I am being shamelessly subjective and I will need the use of ties.
Ranking of gold Olympic champions:
1) Marina Lobatch
2) Alexandra Timoshenko
3) Margarita Mamun - JuliaBarsukova.
Ranking of Silver medalists:
1) Yana Batyrchina
2) Yana Yudryavtseva
3) Carolina Pascual - Irina Tchachina.
Ranking of bronce medalists:
1) Elena Vitrichenko - Ganna Rizatdinova
3) Anna Bessonova - Oksana Skaldina.
Disclaimer 1: Both Alina Kabaeva and Alexandra Timoshenko have two different medals (gold and bronce), so I am considering both only in the the Gold medal category.
Disclaimer 2:  I will be forever bitter that gymnasts such as Dilyana Georgieva, Aneila Ralenkova, Galina Beloglazova or Lilia Ignatova never had the chance of competing in LA 1984 and becoming the first ever RG Olympic champion.
Disclaimer 3: Seriously, LA 1984 was rigged, can we just pretend it didn’t happen?
Disclaimer 4: Having said all that, there are also plenty of gymnasts who are among the best in history and do not have a single Olympic medal. Gymnasts as Bianka Panova, Oksana Kostina, Larissa Lukyanenko, Maria Petrova, Olga Gontar or Natalia Lipkovskaia deserved better than 75% of the medalists in my rankings, to be honest.
Disclaimer 5: Yes, I despise mostly everything that took place in between 2001 and 2010 RG-wise.

Olga Gontar (Belarusian: Вольга Гонтар; Russian: Ольга Гонтарь, born January 11, 1979 in Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian Individual Rhythmic Gymnast. She is the 1995 Grand Prix Final All-around bronze medalist and the 1993 European Junior All-around champion. Gontar started competitive rhythmic gymnastics at 4years old, In 1991, then 12-year-old Gontar won the first of three consecutive all-around titles at the Schmiden International. She would then took the all-around gold at the 1993 European Junior Championships, she also came in first on both ball and ribbon and was second with rope. She debuted as a senior in the 1994 season. In 1995 would be Gontar's last and busiest year in rhythmic. She won bronze in the all-around at the 1995 Grand Prix Final, in the event finals; she won gold in rope (tied with Olena Vitrychenko and Yanina Batyrchina) and bronze in ribbon. Before Gontar could compete at the World Championships, reports surfaced that a back injury was forcing her out and would be the deciding factor in Gontar's early retirement from the sport at just the age of 16 and 10 months. After she completed her career in rhythmic gymnastics, Gontar briefly made a modeling career appearing in print ads and magazine covers for European luxury brands in Milan and Paris.
