Now, imagine Miguel buying Miles that snack he wanted from the store, and as soon as Miles rips open those bags of chips he loves so much, Miguel holds out a single, broad hand, face expressionless, and waits patiently for his due. Asking, but not really asking, for half of Miles' chips.

"Well, aren't you going to share?"

"Why? You bought them for me."

"Miles, you've been begging me to spend my hard-earned money on those oversalted chips when you knew perfectly well that we have snacks at home."
