Russia is trending again and I went into the tag and well. I saw a few posts by ukrainians which I'm not going to reblog because it feels like it's not my place, but I do want to say some stuff.

Please, don't forget about them. Keep speaking about the war and Ukraine. Oppression of some people don't erase oppression of others. They deserve your attention and your kindness and you should talk about them as much as you talk about Gaza or, currently, russian queers.

Furina's accession speech was probably one of my favourite parts of the entire quest

The way she tries to be earnest and be herself but it just doesn't work so she has to improvise. I also really liked the way hoyo did the gameplay part - it's not much, but it felt like we (her) have a rough plan of the speech and we are making it up as we go

And when on the second try we still have the same options but also a second one, with more... pizzazz? She is still trying to be herself, but she has to adapt to meet the new expectations. The plan (and the speech at its core) is the same, it's just expanded and adapted to fit what her people think of the archon.

I just think the whole segment was really well written and well done

Seeing photos from Navalny's funeral service is surreal, especially since I've lived in that area most of my life (moved away a few years ago) and recognise every corner but on these photos everything is in an unfamiliar context. In case anyone outside of Russia wants to know how surreal is living here right now

A convicted rapist (up to 6 years in prison if it's without aggravating circumstances (if I'm not mistaken)) can go to war as a volunteer and then get pardoned by the President.

Soon LGBTQ+ activists can get up to 12 years in prison for supporting queer people, even if activist in question is cis het.
