look at my silly little alien guys, they need a name. and more development.

#alien #speculative biology #spec bio #all i have on them for now is that they use touch (and sort of smell) as their primary sense #they have something similar to amblypygi's modified legs next to the limb they use to move stuff #(that thing that looks like a tongue on the drawing on the right side #that is their 'hand' #they use a sort of glue to move stuff around and grab onto things #also it can separate into smaller bits for more specific movements #it works mostly with hydraulics like a spider's legs #still haven't decided if there is any muscle at all in there #there are nerves tho #a lot of em #that part is one of the most sensitive on their body #oh and the glue doesn't stick to themselves because they produce all over that mouth spot and the part of the 'hand' that doesnt stick anywh #better to make antiglue that make a whole system to control production #easier on evolution lmao #oh and those little hair thingies on their back are mostly used for basic communication like our facial expressions #advanced communication is done via sort of pheromones #my art #paper rhomboids
