Don't know if you've already answered an ask on this in the past but I was wondering what you think of idol producers and who are some that you think are good? I know Zico is like THE idol-producer and people talk about 3racha from skz or soyeon from g-idle who produce for their groups and suga's done a decent amount of stuff for other artists but it seems like people who like their producing are their group fans so not exactly unbiased

to be totally honest i barely think about idol producers at all and i am a poor person to judge the skills of someone as a producer bc i don't really listen to music like that. also a lot of 'idol producers' tend to be rappers and i don't really listen to a lot of their music. i view idol producers i do the same way i do any other idol who involves themselves in the creative process: i don't think it's a necessary part of an idol's job and although there are people that are good at it, that doesn't mean that everyone is or that it's something everyone should be trying to do.
