The memory seeds that appear in lw2 are a curious thing. Like, while I think it’s mentioned in passing they are rare, why are they created in the first place? Pale Tree herself is enough powerful to open a portal to the Dream, and make someone from “outside” physical in it, as demonstrated in the sylvari PC’s story. It doesn’t seem like she would need the seeds herself, although you could justify it that she’s not powerful enough after the shadow of the dragon’s attack on the Grove.

The seeds we get are specifically linked to Caithe and her perspective, although in more general terms, they are more connected to strong memories (I feel sorry for her that all of them feature heavily Faolain). While it’s understandable from game perspective, lore-wise I find it strange that non-sylvari are able to use them. Like just the consequences of something like that falling into wrong hands. It’s also such a deep invasion of privacy, like the modern-world equivalent of going through someone’s journal/phone/computer. Of course, it’s justified in narrative for being “for getting the egg back”, but like, if Caithe had stopped and explained herself for like, five minutes before taking off, all this prying wouldn’t been needed. Just give a general “oh, the egg is my Wyld Hunt now” and most would have accepted that.
