ALRIGHT WITH CHILL SEASON COMING UP AND BIG RUN IMMINENT IT MIGHT BE TIME FOR A REFRESHER SO- TIPS FOR NEW SALMON RUNNERS:

1. Flyfish suck, and I’m glad y’all learn that fast, but so do drizzlers and steelheads. If you don’t have room to move around, you’re toast. Focus on the bosses giving you the most trouble first. While flyfish are usually pesky little buggers, they’re not the biggest problem when you’ve got four steel eels out on high tide.

2. Keep an eye out for your teammates, and if they’re using a weapon that’s less good at dealing with hordes, help them out. Teamwork is key, they’ll appreciate it, and you’re both more likely to survive the wave.

3. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF COD KNOW YOUR BOSSES. Maws can be one-shot with bombs, and I’m like 99% sure it’s covered in the tutorial, but I don’t see a lot of new squids doin it. If you find yourself struggling, sometimes you just need a little refresher from the manual. :>

4. Communicate. This way, Booyah, and Help are our only audio signals, so use them liberally! Wanna thank somebody for saving you? Booyah! Need help with a horde, a boss, or a surplus of eggs? This way! Get downed and your team is focused elsewhere? Help! Make sure to talk to your team, and listen for when they need a hand.

5. Have fun, and remember to take breaks!

Alright that’s it, stay fresh and don’t get bonked on the head too many times.
