3 OC Facts

I was tagged by the wonderful @keeperscompanionsdai & the darling @heraldofwho , thank you guys <3 (Sorry I’m late!)

1. Jereth was actually the person who taught Anders to swim (and to keep trying to escape). Years before recruiting the mage into the wardens, back in the Ferelden circle, Jereth was... a major pain in the ass to all the templars. Half because it was funny, and half because he felt they deserved it. His favorite trick to pull was - Six T - Try To Topple The Templar Tit. Where he would kick a praying templar up the arse, in hopes of watching him topple forward (thanks to all the armour) while he sprinted as fast as his long ass legs could carry him away, laughing like the joker. This lead to being caught and disciplined many times before he learnt jumping into the lake was a great hiding place, or at least, somewhere people in heavy armour didn’t seem to want to chase him into. One day he found a young Anders snuffling because he got caught trying to sneak a kitten he’d found into the circle. Jereth, being a bit uncomfortable at the sight of someone crying said he needed a good hiding place, and pointed at the lake saying he could use his spot if he wanted.... When the young Anders said he didn’t know how to swim, Jereth took it upon himself to teach him. Also, don’t tell anyone, but... He loves to knit. Wynne taught him and when he was pretending to work in his fancy office, he was actually knitting. He made Alistair a jumper with a massive griffon on the front... Alistair loves it.

2. Nico. the most up together and badass bitch she is, has more phobias than any of my other OC’s. She’s scared of Harts and Hallas due to one wailing right next to her when she was 4 years old. Now if she’s near one she constantly watches it from the corner of her eye, swearing and muttering under her breath, with her fists clenched ready to murder it with her hands ‘If it starts’. She’s never liked the sea, ever. Rivers, lakes, ponds, water in general, all fine... But the sea is... too endless, too deep, too dark, and just too bloody creepy with all the ugly stuff that lives in there for her liking, thanks all the same. Not to mention, she gets sick on boats. She is more afraid of death than any of the others, Nico feels safest when she is in control, death is the ultimate in ‘letting go, and giving in’, and she will never, ever, not now, or in 100 years time, go without a fight. While not a phobia, the smell of campfires is something that provokes nothing but bad memories and a sick feeling she just wants to be as far away as possible from. This stems from a time she and Faeron were being disciplined by their father by forcing them to adopt a horse stance in front of the campfire and hold buckets of water on each thigh (not an usual punishment for them)... Unfortunately, their father (the keeper) was called away elsewhere in the camp and plain forgot about his children. Hours later their mother found her children trembling, crying, barely able to stand and soaked to the bone. Thalion was never so heavy handed with his children from that day forth.

3. Faeron actually has the highest chance of ‘losing his shit’ and becoming the bad guy one day. If something terrible happened, and the poor sod didn’t die of heartbreak (which is pretty likely), he’d become one of the most dangerous forces Thadas has ever known overnight. If Faeron lost what made him who he is, namely the people he loves and cherishes, he’d lose his mind. Something fundamental in him would just shatter into a billion pieces, my sweet boy would be gone, lost forever. He’d become cruel, chaotic evil, with no rhyme, nor real reason for his actions other than, ‘Being kind and gentle only leads to pain... I’ll prove it to you.’ Being a dreamer, and able to trap people in an endless nightmare AT WILL, not to mention generally gifted with magic, means stopping him would be nigh on impossible, plus the fact he would have been driven insane from sadness means there would be no pattern to catching him, and no limit on what he would do. The blood mages of the Tevinter Imperium, would look like school girls having pillow fights compared to the shitstorm he would rain down, and the depths of ‘unorthodox magics’ he’d sink to.

So, I was checking the files on my computer and I came across something...weird.

There’s this one folder in my pictures library called “survivorjack_files”. I never made that. Sure, I love Survivor, and I love my OC Jack, but I have no clue where that came from.

Now, the contents are even weirder. It seems to be something that Tumblr generated, because it contains:

And a gif of some painting that’s--I guess, after a quick google search--this Sirin Thada’s work

I don’t even know what to say to all this. Miss Thada, you have some weird ad methods, I guess.
