im reading through the logs + talk dialogue for pikmin 3 (again) & it drives me so crazy how many details are different between the NA and EU localizations

#obvs this is not the only case of this w/ nintendo eng localizations (splatoon 1 is known for being similar) #but it's still. agh #you miss details like the exact amount of siblings alph has in the NA localization.. not to mention how much of #the captain's personality gets lost. #same with olimar's memos too.. some of them are much more uncharacteristic in NA #it makes me kind of sad that all english versions of 3 DX are based on the NA localization. i would have loved to see what #the EU versions of piklopedia entries would be like ←guy who loves comparing minute differences #minute... i mean 'very small or negligible differences' but I don't remember if that's spelled different than the unit of time #anyways. #fiftytenpost #pikmin #pikmin 3 #it's no real shade to the NA localization btw i know localization is a whole process. but still.
