they keep a lot of lines the same in english like "please, lets stop--" "its too late to stop!" then this but in eng they had her go "no one stops" seeming like, shes gonna see her plan through in order to have the replicant go back to the gestalt and all of the tools in the room will play their part in it

but here it was just. raw emotion? rage? yeah

thinking about the localization changes and stuff

i love how they made kaines swearing REALLY creative. its beautiful. its funny that theyre literally just bleeps in the japanese vo though. like you can tell what shes saying in some lines, and seeing how they chose to translate it is funny as all hell

with weiss, its. weird, idk i heard a few lines from the xbox one and was like. Huh okay sounds... watery and snobby, not archaic yet grumpy yet friendly? idk but it also fits ig

but rn im thinking about devpop and how in the scene where dev dies, they had it in english as "no one stops" but im fairly certain pop was like "im going to kill everyone" in the jpn vo. which also ties into the post i made earlier about how she seemed to be more conflicted(?) and cared a lot about "that generation's mcnier" but all of that went out the window with devs death

imagine fighting a strong enemy 5x in a row, constantly dying, learning how to parry because of it and then getting its health bar down to 3 PIXELS, then it knocks you off the cliff and you spawn way the fuck elsewhere and lose momentum

hmmm interesting. so the english version just added it in to have it mean More to people that know how the other popola snapped during the. shadowlord stuff. there is nothing like that in the japanese one, for the memoirs. it is an interesting addition/change
