hiii everyone! since part 1 of ch09 has just been uploaded, we wanted to give you a little update re: the organization of the fic going forward as well. andi has had some things come up and she has decided to step back from acswy for the remainder of the fic. she has her own personal reasons for doing so and while everything is okay, we do ask that you don’t send us any messages or asks about it, just because it is a little private and not something we want to be talking about on this blog <33 obviously this isn’t anything that any of us wanted — we came up with the concept for the universe with her almost a year ago now — but this is still a story we are very committed to seeing through to the end.

you can check the FAQ for updates on how we divided up the chapters, which does bring up another important point: because of the way the chapters were initially split up, it was inevitable that we would both have two back to back chapters for the last third of the fic. this also means that update times are, unfortunately, going to be a lot more up in the air, now that we don’t have a buffer in between two consecutive chapters anymore, and these are already chapters that we have been spending a lot of time and energy on to make sure they’re living up to our vision for the fic! again, i know this is not an outcome that anyone is happy about, but we just wanted to thank you guys so much for your patience and flexibility. you’ve been super great during the wait for this chapter, and your support has gotten us through some seriously tough patches of writer’s block. hope you all enjoy this first installment of chapter 9, and we’ll see you in a bit for part 2!
