#just watched the boys in the band on netflix and i 100% reccomend #it’s based on a play and so good #also in the vein of plays of you ever can find a production of Perfect Arrangement anywhere please do urself a favor and watch it #also Fellow Travelers the show is SO FUCKING GOOD #i just think McCarthy era/50s-70s gay period pieces are neat #have yet to find any lesbian centric ones from those eras which are actually good #as far as good lesbian period pieces go i feel like they’re all boring except gentleman jack which is iconic #wait also league of their own is good and not boring #if anyone has any suggestions for non boring lesbian period pieces this pls lmk #i need like 1920s lesbians and 1950s bar lesbians fucking nasty #none of this 1800s yearning shit i wanna see fucking NOW
