A part of me will always be a little salty that we had to wait almost 20 years to get an "official" InuKag baby when Sunrise already put Akitoki x Kagome kids into the actual OG anime:

And the fact that we only got our InuKag baby at the price of a shitty, controversial "sequel" still makes me mad 😑

#I know it was all in Akitoki's head by come on! #why do we get to see kids Kagome has w/ a character who Sunrise made up and only showed up twice in the entire anime #when InuKag has literally been RIGHT THERE and is the actual CANON couple #if Sunrise could make up an entirely new character for the anime and add in hypothetical kids that same character has w/ Kagome #when none of that shit was in the manga #then they could've damn well added in Moroha or an inukag kid in the last few seconds of the final episode #it wouldn't have been the first time they decided to deviate from the manga and how things play out #and the fact that we only got an 'official' inukag kid at all was because of a bad non-canon sequel #where she's treated horribly and like the comedic relief for no reason but to make a OG minor character's kids seem more important #still makes me bitter #no offence to Akitoki btw #inukag deserved better #moroha deserved better #inuyasha #kagome higurashi #inukag #akitoki hojo #moroha higurashi #moroha #inukag family #inukag daughter #inukag baby #the hanyou and his miko #inukag child #inuyasha anime #anti sunrise #anti yashahime #don't mind me ranting
