Nightshade pets Royal to calm her down a bit. "She's afraid you may try to do something to me..."

*they all land!* Knight: huh- uh i don't notice much difference? Avarice: i feel the same- Black lily: honestly- even if it was noticeable- i think i wouldn't notice-

Burnt Cheese Cookie, standing at the gates, looks at everyone. "I am Burnt Cheese Cookie, the Keeper of the Gates. Olive, you two have already passed the trials so you may continue. Fettuccine, you're already from the Kindgom, so you may continue." he says.

"Good luck on the trials!" Olive says, taking Fettuccine with her through the gates.

"You others, to enter our kingdom, everyone, noble or lowly, must pass through these gates. The gates will measure the power of your greed." Burnt Cheese goes on with his classic introductions. He seems to giving an interested look at Avarice, if you could sense his looks through his jackal head hat thing. "The first trial, you must win in a fight against my jackals, using your bare hands."

Nightshade looks uncomfortable, he was never a fighter. And he's afraid Royal might get hurt.

Pitaya and snapdragon: *ready*

Nightshade and Salak are ready, yes Salak is coming with. Dark Choco is going to watch after Biscuit and Buttercream(two of the three cake hounds, as Royal insists on going with Nightshade) and Soap. Salak personally is bringing a spare food and water bowl for Royal. She also has a spray bottle, 'cause she can't sweat and doesn't wanna have a heat stroke.

Ultra: oh yeah that is confusing- ANYONE with a Blue or Indigo colored ring! OR white ring i'll add that too! are 100% with me'n my brothers! good honest people! anyone with a green ring? and their leaders the short blue skinned people- are GOOD guys! but see US as criminals- so fight them but DON'T kill'em- orange, pink, red, yellow, BAD guys! if not us! hurt'em bad! kill if NEEDED! black lanterns are 1 50/50 that more clear?

Nightshade nods, understanding a little better now. "Honestly I'm not a fighter. And Salak really doesn't like using her venom unless she has to. But I'll take full note of this. Dark Choco is the most likely to be of help if they do decide to visit."

Salak coiled up. "Ouroboros, a snake swallowing it's own tail, or a snake-like dragon swallowing it's own tail. It means wholeness, or infinity... why am I remembering this? A snake swallowing itself means the snake is starved to the point of self-cannibalism. Or a kingsnake thinking itself is another, smaller snake and is therefor food. Watching it cycle around moving forward to eat but also moving forward to avoid being eaten, not realizing it's eating itself away. What would happen if it succeeds? The snake would vanish, most likely, but most of the time it dies trying to eat itself, refusing to spit itself up. That's when somebody comes in to help it, make it think itself isn't food, usually by something smelling strong, like hand sanitizer, and it spits itself up, stopping the ouroboros, and continues to live."

"Salak, are you just hungry?" Nightshade asked, interrupting.

Salak nods "Probably."

"So he wasn't bullcrapping me when he said that Salak was killing somebody?" Nightshade says, tiredly looking over and petting Royal "As for where he went, let's just say his dad was very upset at him. Xaster entered my mind, long story short, and even though he says there's no strings attached to him helping me get away from the overwhelming depression that washed over me, I kinda doubt it. But right now, I just want to go home and take a nap."

Royal barks at Nightshade, snuggling closely to him.

"Well, that sounds horrifying." Olive adds to the conversation. She and Fettuccine never left Nightshade's side lol
