Currently building/setting up a new uberhood made out of custom populated neighborhoods that I like to play, because I can never decide and stick to one thing. It's mostly desert setting so I'll probably make "empty" subhoods containing only the Sims out of the non-desert ones, so I can just add the Sims and move them in somewhere else. Main hood is gonna be Strangetown, but because I'm a completionist I've downloaded the Overkill-Strangetown SC4 Terrain by @chrisnewbie and plan to put all the Strangetown Sims from all the games in there, possibly add La Fiesta Tech and maybe even the TS2 Stories Sims (probably not though. Or maybe only Pet Stories).

So my current set-up looks like this:

- Main: Strangetown (uber version, no or few townies)

- Downtown: Emerald Heights

- University: Cactus Canyon, Quadington, LFT (Playable Sims + Secret Society only)

- Vacation: Winter Wonderland (mountain), possibly Felicity Island (tropical), ??? (far east). Maybe turn Nekojima into vacation hood? Hmm.

- Subhood 1: Sedona Deluxe + Copperhead City (Sims only) + maybe Pitstop Valley

-Subhood 2: Jeans Shaker Oasis

- Subhood 3: Service Area

- Subhood 4: Saguaro Desert + Douglasville + maybe Blackrock (no or few townies)

- Subhood 5: Softpines (on a dirt terrain) + Oak Hill + Oaken Valley

- Subhood 6: Arkhelios + Winterose (Sims only) + Nekojima (if not Vacation Hood)

I also got the Sims of Polgannon, Nekojima (not sure what to do with them yet) ... I've removed the bulk of dead ancestors from all the hoods to strip them down a little [edited to add I've also removed excess NPCs from all the hoods so far, in particular those stupid useless drivers] but still feel like this *might* be slightly overkill. Lol.

Hi! Sorry for kind of just going missing but I got way too invested with a custom Uberhood out of the greatest custom neighborhoords out there, some of which I already played a little and some of which I didn't. I know you want to see the Somersets and I have a season over at the spares to post but I'm in a playing mood currently, not so much in a story telling mode xD Also, work is super busy and I do late hours some days. Even only got four days of free between christmas and new years. 😩 But got free at the end of Janurary too, so looking foreward to that. The Somersets might return for Christmas, so stay tuned xD

Hi! I had to wrote this down, because it was just awful. So while I was playing Kokei household, Yoshitoshi hooked up with Ren Aoyama, so I thought, okay a new interesting pairing! They went on a date, went steady, but Yoshitoshi got pregnant so I arranged a quick wedding ceremony at Toomo´s Shrine, because she already had a belly. REN LEFT HER AT THE ALTAR which I did not expect. Everyone was devasted, Yoshitoshi later gave birth at home BUT SHE DIED. ...I am gonna fire Ren after I recover.

Aaah, Anon! I'm so sorry it took me forever to answer this, because it was so sweet and it's such a good ask and I wanted to give it a great answer and I forgot.

Short answer: all my mutuals' sims are adorable and I love them.

Long answer: So I literally kidnapped @pixeldolly's Fiona Merridew, and I'm obsessed with my deep-rooted horror of Larkin. I love @eulaliasims Gaius and Chiana and Theo, and Syx and Kaiden (beautiful tropical birb) and Carlos (perfect hair). @episims Hanna is one of my favorite sims of all time (I like robots) and Jonas has grown on me such slowly and so much (appropriate for a plant sim.) I would fight God herself for @dunne-ias's take on Nina Caliente if God and I weren't pals. I love how @nappe-plays-the-sims writes Candy Hart, and Lana's whole arc. (And Cyan Weiss). @vixsims's Brandi and Dina. @beikonsims's super cute roboticist, Arin Capp. Every weirdo in @mynameisquoi's game except Jack. Every chubby-cheeked toddler in @deedee-sims' Griffonmere. Dr. Gregory Occulus (thank for creating such a perfect being, @virtualpeople).The whole aesthetic vibe of every sim @simmer-until-tender makes. Especially the vampires. @mikexx2's fashion icons, Jillian and Daphne. @simnostalgia's absolutely iconic Xander Roth. And Mashugas! And Tiffany Burb! And Blaire, and-

@plumbbobtoggle Saeed and Rea and Adam (especially Rea.) I think all the sims in @katatty's Hollyhead are super well-created, especially Luna and Myrna and Clyde. (Also, every sim on Nekojima ;D.) @simhealing's found-family version of Natasha, John and Rick Contrary. @enkisstories' own version of Daniel and Gavin and all the extremely technical gameplay that goes with them. @bramblefinch's Helena Zhao (my fave blood-stained disaster.) Monday

Fitzwilliam needed a new start. He had spend too much time stalking behind Pearl, his ex. He had just moved into this semi fancy apartment, now he needed a new job. Maybe in something he already had experience in? He had given up on his dream to be a movie star. There were other things to gain fame for. This day though, he couldn't find an opening on the established pages...

Fitzwilliam didn't know any of his neighbors yet, though there was one especially interesting sample of Sim living right next to him. Fitzwilliam didn't waste time to get to know him. His name was Torakku, he was from Nekojima and he was an Aerobics Instructor.

Things quickly got... interesting.

After his encounter with Torakku, Fitzwilliam had to fix himself a drink. Wow, how exciting! He had wasted so much time pining after Pearl when there were such thrilling beings out there! Fitzwilliam had just taken one sip of his drink, when the phone rang. To his enormous surprise, it was his son Soda Pop. Fitzwilliam: Soda! Wow, how did you get my number? Soda Pop: I've asked the Social Worker that helped Mom and you with the divorce. Fitzwilliam felt a lump form in his throat. Fitzwilliam: H-how is you mother. I've heard, her recent partner is... Soda Pop: Yeah, it's the same old story. She's widowed and already pregnant again. But this time she seems smarter. She finally understood she's cursed. Fitzwilliam: Cursed? No Soda, that's not right. Please don't tell her, that we talked, okay? You know she has that injunction against me. Soda Pop: No worries Dad. Don't be a stranger, okay? Fitzwilliam: Sure. His voice broke as he croaked that last word before Soda Pop ended the line. Now he really needed a drink!

Nekojima

Long ago, when Nekojima was still part of the mainland, there was a fine lord's daughter named Toomo. Toomo was lonely until her father brought her a kitten for company. And another, and another. As she grew, so did her court of cats. Toomo loved her cats above all things, until the day she came upon the son of a woodcutter. She promised him many riches if he would wed her, but his love belonged to another. Toomo wept and wept. Her cats curled about her as always, drying her tears on their fur. One day, she lifted her eyes and saw how they sprawled in the sunlight without care or worry. She longed to become a cat, so that her heart would no longer ache. The gods took pity on Toomo. They made her a cat that would mother many cats, and they broke Nekojima from the mainland so it could be her kingdom. The sims who came away with Nekojima were frightened, but the cats taught them to fish and kept them warm at night. And so the islanders revere all cats, but especially Lady Toomo.

Today Nekojima is a small island off the coast of Takemizu, where the cats outnumber the townspeople and everyone knows how to fish.

Normally a quiet, cozy little place, tragedy and new arrivals have stirred emotions. But an ill wind blows across the island. As an ancient chapter comes to a close, another prepares to be written.

Kazuo Kitano : like that one 90s heartthrob that everyone is so in love with, including jackucho. He has that one-curtain hairstyle, the smile, and looks like eun jiwon, a city boy. He's so self-aware of jackucho's presence but honestly, I swear he's bored of her. Jackucho ran into him one night of 1998 in the mori mart where and that's when she found her shoujo prince 🤴

Mayumi Furuya : cunt 90s business woman, loves her job, loves it more than her husband, not more than her daughter though. ( the daughter she was begging was a son but okay ) . . . While Mayumi is not thrilled that she's back on this island... again except permanently, she's a little more less on edge because, almost half of her inlaws are like... deceased = meaning less nagging/critique. Honestly, she pretends to give into jackucho's whining but in reality she's in no rush to leave.
