#Mewar_University_In_Media:: NCC Cadets of Mewar University celebrated 75th NCC Raising Day.

The NCC cadets of Mewar University celebrated the 75th NCC Raising Day on 26th November 2023. On this occasion, various activities were organized by the NCC cadets. The three-day-long program included a cleanliness drive, drill demonstration, unity rally, tree plantation, etc. The NCC cadets took out a solidarity rally, planted saplings, and gave a message to keep the environment healthy. The NCC cadets of Mewar University carried out a cleanliness drive on the first day, a drill demonstration on the second day, and a unity rally on the third day. The NCC cadets demonstrated their skills through a drill. At the same time, under the cleanliness campaign, the importance of cleanliness was explained, including how diseases can be avoided by keeping the surroundings healthy. At the same time, an attempt was made to convey the message from the medium of plantation in the university that plants help avoid the ill effects on the health of nature and human life, and an appeal was made to everyone to contribute to saving nature by planting more and more plants in human life. On the occasion, Lt. Tabish Ali Khan, Associate NCC Officer, Mewar University, briefed the students about the importance of joining NCC to the Whole team.

Three NCC cadets of Mewar University have been selected in the IGC Jaipur camp for the Republic Day selection camp to be held in New Delhi. Lieutenant Tabish Ali Khan, Associate NCC Officer said that 94 cadets of the Army wing in Udaipur have been selected for the IGC, 2023 Jaipur camp, out of which 15 NCC cadets of the 5 Raj Indep Company NCC Bhilwara, 3 NCC cadets of Mewar University Senior Under Officer Laxman Ram, Sergeant Rajpal Singh, and Padam Singh Rathore have been selected. All these selected NCC cadets will attend the IGC and Pre-RDC camp from November 18th to November 27th. Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairperson, and Dr. Alok Misra, Vice-Chancellor of Mewar University, congratulated the NCC cadets on their selection.
