【作品】仙術超攻殼 ORION

1991年的《仙術超攻殼 ORION》實在是士郎正宗最狂放也最充滿想像力的作品。世界觀設定在充滿各種神話指涉的星際文明，可謂比電腦叛客、蒸氣叛客更超前一步，衝入後無來者的神話叛客（mythopunk）領域。裡面的魔法與科學融為一體，士郎巧妙玩轉咒術、仙術、法陣、五行八卦、遺傳學、電磁學、資訊科學，咒語即程式碼，神明為作業系統，典故交錯指涉日本神話、道教、佛教、西遊記、克蘇魯神話（尖端中譯版將此部份完全剔除，至為可惜，因為它顯示士郎並非只是倚仗古經典的文化權威來老調新彈，而是真的想揉雜古今來作到完全創新）…而故事中反駁善惡二元論的主軸也延續了《攻殼機動隊》第1集末尾的論述，可以說是士郎正宗思想與幻想的集大成之作。
