hails from a family of v accomplished ballerinas & was a ballerina herself! she’s... honestly she’s not bad at it?? but her skill is v much thru loads of practice as opposed to the rest of her family, who also practices A Lot but as a cute bonus, are also blessed w the it factor

has some weird sister (?) complex... she’s in the corps de ballet ( like... think background dancers ) while byeol was a principal dancer even tho they’re only 2 years apart : ) her sister is the best ballerina to come from the long line of song ballerinas & everyone knows this

bitna is insanely jealous of her sister ( someone give bitna the worst sibling award ) bc byeol is taller, prettier, more extroverted, friendlier, beautifuller, amazinger like literally everything n bitna is just a bitter bitch

anw bitna’s and her family’s lives revolve around ballet so no one rlly pays any mind to anything outside of it, like they truly be existing in this tchaikovsky bubble

when bitna was 14-15, her powers of light manifested and she had a real talent for it?? she showed this off to her family in a ‘hey guys... look at me... there’s more than just ballet guys i’m real good at light haha’ kinda way n her parents were like lol uh cool n e ways...

so back to ballet 🤪 all that practice paid off and the company wants to promote her to a soloist and gave her her first principal dance, so bitna’s life was truly lookin up!! ( this was probably at the start of 2021 )

she practices so much that she overworked herself bc she was just so nervous n rlly did not want to fuck it up 

this backfired bc... bc she overworked herself, she ended up falling on stage twice, vomiting, then proceeding to run away mid-performance w the music still playing in the bg...

needless to say she quit ballet ( in a way that’s like no u didn’t fire me bc i quit!! ) n she realises then that she rlly has nothing to hold onto? like her life was genuinely all abt ballet she barely even has friends

but she remembers her talent w light so she takes the pre-enrolment assessment n passes!! so now she’s off to the academy bc ya girl is pulling the v classic so i clowned myself n now im running away n changing my name

also idk where to put this but it seems like an impt point, but ya girl has a superiority complex ( aka acting superior as a defense mechanism for her feelings of inferiority ) n this also extends to the way she dresses aka she’s overdressed 110% of the time

she also has really dry humour and can be v quick to point out the obvious ( character inspo: phoebe from friends ) and people may confuse this for her being blunt n rude but she’s honestly just socially awkward guys
