little mlp g5 rant 🙏

my little pony generation 5 doesn't make sense, and it's a horrible reboot for my little pony. i'm not just saying that bc i hate the style of the new generation (though that is a big factor). i'm saying that bc the concept is completely wrong. in my little pony generation 4, we learned about friendship, and near the end, we learned to accept every species living in equestria, even species that aren't ponies. how would the ponies of equestria just end up hating one another out of nowhere? it simply makes no sense. if anything, generation 5 would add more diversity to the show. my expectations for generation 5 were maybe having the focus be on the young six from the end of friendship is magic, or maybe having a new mane six that consists of basically the same cast, but adding more diverse species / designs. for example, i could see fluttershy being a changeling, or rarity being a crystal empire pony, pinkie being a seapony, rainbow dash being a griffon, etc. while i don't exactly hate the new characters, it would be nice to bring back the whole concept of different equestrian species. i feel like that whole debacle was kinda left in the dust and we never got to see it again.

this is just my opinion btw 🙏 not saying you can't like generation 5 or anything but to me personally it just doesn't make sense
