There are certain things I can’t/won’t draw, and will decline the commission without a detailed explanation as to why. If your commission inquiry includes any such theme(s), you will be notified. From there we can discuss alternative options/ideas, or cancel the commission.

Process & Disclaimers

Getting Started

Email Me: Commission inquiries must be made and confirmed via email ([email protected]).

Other People’s Character(s)/Concept(s): If your commission involves another person’s intellectual property (characters, concepts, etc), the commission has to be confirmed by them as well. Some exceptions can be made on a case by case basis and within reason.

Payment Upfront: I will start working on the commission once the invoice is paid for/the transfer is picked up. See more details in the next section.

Time Frame: Your commission will be finished from 3 days to 3 months after the payment is cleared, depending on factors such as: complexity of the commission, hardware and/or software issues, health, work, etc. You will be notified regarding any and all delays with your commission.

Deadlines: All specific deadlines must be stated and discussed in advance to ensure that they are met either by me, or another artist.

Private Commissions: Unless stated otherwise before the payment is made, I reserve the right to post the commissioned material and its progress on my social media accounts, in my portfolio, books, etc.

In Progress

WIPs: Unless requested otherwise, I will provide you with Work In Progress shots of the commission after every applicable stage (sketch, lineart, flat colors). This gives you the opportunity to give me corrections and additional info applicable to the given stage.

In Progress Edits: Upon receiving the WIP, you are required to state any changes you’d like me to make in the given stage of the commission. Any major changes after I’ve begun working on the following stage(s) will come with an additional fee (Ex: You approved the sketch, I went on to do the linework, and only upon seeing the finished lineart, you changed your mind about the outfit/pose/expression/etc).

Completed

Output: Once your commission is completed, the full resolution image will be uploaded to my Google Drive, and shared with you via email as a reply to the commission inquiry thread.

Post-completion Edits: After the final version is approved by you, up to 3 minor changes will be made free of charge (small linework tweaks, color alterations, small tattoos/scars/markings, etc) within a week (7 calendar days) following the approval. Any further edits will be discussed on a case by case basis, and will come with an additional fee.

Personal Use: By default, all commissions are made for personal use (posting on social media for non-commercial purposes, making personal prints, using as icons/headers, attaching to character sheets, etc).

Commercial Use: Purchasing the commercial rights to the artwork will be discussed on a case by case basis. With said purchase, it will be within your legal rights to alter the material, use it for merchandise, as book illustrations, etc, with only the credit provided to me.

Payment

Payment is accepted only in USD. Please do not transfer the funds without an invoice/confirmation email from me.

All transfer fees must be paid by the commissioner, and will be included in the invoice.

Payment must be made in advance for all commissions under $100.

Anything totaling $100 and above can be split 50/50, depending on the commissioner’s preference. I will send you a small preview of the finished illustration, and the full resolution image once the second half of the payment is made.

Western Union / MoneyGram

All transfer fees must be paid by the commissioner, and will be included in my email along with other necessary information.

Payment must be made in advance for all commissions under $200.

Anything totaling $200 and above can be split 50/50, depending on the commissioner’s preference. I will send you a small preview of the finished illustration, and the full resolution image once the second half of the payment is made.

Ko-fi

All transfer fees must be paid by the commissioner, and will be included in the confirmation email.

Please do not buy me coffees until we’ve agreed on all details via email.

Payment must be made in advance for all commissions under $100.

Refunds

Payment is refundable only until I’ve presented you with the sketch of your commission.

PayPal refunds will be made within 24-48 hours after the initial request.

Western Union/MoneyGram transfers will be refunded the following business day (Mon-Fri, excluding national holidays), and may need a couple more business days to be available for pick-up.

I will not cover the transfer fees required for the refund.

Please note that while I will not ask you to state a reason for requesting the cancellation of your commission, any suspicious activity in this regard will reflect on whether I’ll accept any future commissions from you or not.

Filing a dispute for the transfer without having contacted me, or doing so after you’ve been provided with the sketch for your commission, is a violation of my Terms of Service, and will permanently ban you from my services, and revoke your rights to any works commissioned from me to date. In addition, you will be placed on a public blacklist for other artists to see and be wary of.

Any of the above terms are subject to change at my discretion. Any major changes will affect only the commissions placed after they’ve been made.

For individual commissions, additional details and some changes to the Terms of Service can be discussed before the payment is made.
