Magearna frowned with worry while she wandered into the room, shutting the door behind her as she was asked before going to sit down wherever she can nearest to Diancie. She tilted her head before reaching out with telepathy again, “what’s going on? I haven’t seen you this upset in awhile... something to do with that jacket I take it, it doesn’t look like it’d be one of yours.”

There's a mildly confused blink from Magearna when the text comes in, if it wasn't so alarmingly specific (and a request), she might've thought it was just a spam message. But... how did it get here? She wasn't streaming to anywhere from her phone as far as she could tell, but it's not like it seemed dangerous to her at least. It was always flattering when someone complimented her skill in these games, even though she refused to make any public appearances over them.

[ Thank you. I like these games, listening to music is nice but putting game patterns to the notes makes it more enjoyable for me. It gives me a way to act out the notes when I normally can’t. ]

Sight-reading in order to sing out notes, doesn’t really work when you cannot physically speak. She can ‘think’ in any voice she wants to, but she feels it’s not quite the same.

[ Sure, that’s one of my favorites too. I don’t know how you are seeing my game, but I don’t mind playing it again for you. ]

She never once shifted to the text message screen despite the fact the messages went through, she was still on the end result screen and taps replay a moment later.

With the fae realm bound to be in an uproar again soon, Magearna was content to leave it behind and go visit a friend before it started to become a problem. But despite having spoken to Elys for a long time via Neopets, and pretty much any other pet site they could get their hands on, they never met in person before. They were fairly familiar with eachother’s lives by now however, and Magearna was feeling brave enough to ask if she wanted to actually talk face to face. She was almost surprised when Elys said that it would be okay for her to visit.

One fairly easy trip down the fae paths later, and she was in Sinnoh, meeting with her friend for the first time and enjoying every second of it. She didn’t seem to think it was that strange that Magearna could only reply with telepathy, and Magearna was very entertained by any ghostly shenanigans Elys decided to get up to. She was just as nice to talk to in person as she had been online, and that’s all Magearna could’ve ever asked for.

She wasn’t even scared to visit Sendoff Spring, if anything she was kind of curious to meet the wild family that Elys had talked about so often. 

The offer to stay for awhile surprised her on the way there, but she smiles fondly at the thought. ‘Are you sure they won’t mind?’

With a lack of knowing what else to call the person who messaged her phone about her rhythm game, Magearna had named them in her contacts ‘Rhythm Game Watcher’... considering that was evidently what they had been doing, somehow. 

However upon scrolling through her contact list days later, she finds a new name she did not put into her phone. Professor A. Turo... last she checked she didn’t know any professors. Opening the messages shared revealed this was apparently the mysterious Rhythm Game Watcher. Wow, a whole professor had been watching her phone... she was very curious as to why, maybe he’d just been bored? Though hacking into a girl’s phone to watch her get high scores on neat songs was an interesting way to alleviate boredom.

Not that she doesn’t also think she’d maybe do that herself, if she had the capability to do so.
