Littlefoot?

How I feel about this character: Sweet boy who loves to do good and has some very mature values for his age, even though he’s still a kid at heart. My precious longneck messiah (okay, he isn’t that bad he can get close to that). I like tormenting him with his issues about death and saving others, but I do want to give him a happy ending.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: None. I’m not much of a shipper, but some of my most favorite characters I ship with no one and he’s my fave.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: His friends for one. He has a good dynamic with each of them, with how he clicks and clashes with Cera; likes Petrie’s nervous and excitable demeanor; is fond of and takes heart in Ducky’s good cheer; is accepting and takes delight in Spike’s quirks; loves and protects Chomper like he’s a sweet and energetic little brother; and can bounce smarts and curiosity with Ruby. I’d like to see more of how he interacts with Spike and Ruby. His bond with his mother and Bron is sweet and interesting, but I’ve been fascinated by how he relates to his grandparents and like looking more closely into it. I also like his brotherly relationship with Shorty. I can picture them being teasing and rough, yet sweet at their best, and would like to see more of it. There are more but these are the most prominent that come to mind

My unpopular opinion about this character: IDK if this is unpopular, but I think him being so helpful to even those who are hostile to him is a natural progression for his character in the sequels. After the losses and struggles he endured, I can see him wanting to stop that again if he can help it. Also, I don’t ship him with Ali or Cera. Those two are my wonderful faves as well, but nope, don’t feel it.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Regardless of whether he gets a spouse and/or children of his own, he should live a long and happy life with his friends and loved ones, continuing to do good in the world. After all he’s been through, he deserves it.
