thoughts on desserts/sweets and adjacent things

this is gonna be a long one btw

my favorite used to be cheesecake but then i ate a whole cheesecake in one sitting and now i’m pretty neutral about it

i don’t like anything with nuts

chocolate in general is HEAVILY overrated

my favorite candies are gummy cherries

i really wanna eat tres leches cake again

i don’t like baklava (i used to eat it all the time when my family played mahjong (story for later) and now i’m sick of it, also it’s too dry)

taffy/gummies/hard candies are my favorite types

least favorite candy overall: snickers

i don’t like angel food cake. it’s not very good for some reason but my family loves it. same with pineapple upside down cake even though it’s a family tradition on my dad’s side

idk if ive ever had strawberry shortcake before but i remember the best cake i’ve ever eaten was a spongebob-themed sheet cake with a gel-like filling that was half strawberry half lemon. i miss that cake

i used to really like black licorice when i was younger although in hindsight i may have been trying to be unique and “not like the other kids” because it’s just too sweet but not in a good way

chocolate cake is the best way to eat chocolate

i feel like i haven’t had most sweets in general just candy and 3 different types of cakes recommend more for me to eat

i used to love flan when i was younger but it’s been so long since i’ve had good flan

i like parfaits when the granola doesn’t smell or taste weird (like it does at my school so i scoop it out)

my favorite ice cream is rainbow sherbet

in general i’d say i like ‘em a lot
