Sadly, 'Twinkle' our beautiful princess died last night. Twinkle will be great missed. She has been a great emotional support to my kids, particularly over the last couple of years of uncertainty. She always loved a warm knee or bed. A very much loved member of the family and as you can see from the second photo, always happy to share her cuddles with other members of the family like Merlin, here as a puppy with Vincent who we also lost a couple of year's ago. She was a good age and passed peacefully in our arms. Happy #NationalBlackCatDay! I know Alan is black & white but he nearly counts. I couldn’t post any earlier as he had been missing for almost 48 hours. Happily Alan came home earlier tonight much to our relief. He was utterly starving and desperate for a wee leading us to think he’s been locked in a neighbour’s house/garage. We were at the point of setting out to post leaflets through doors when he heard him run to us. Phew! Safe to say he’s been treated like a king tonight. Lots of catnip, milk through a syringe (don’t ask!) & more cuddles than he actually wants. They say that black cats are most likely to be abandoned as they are difficult to photograph and not as Instagramable.
