'ELLA PUGALUM IRAIVANUKKU'........ Happy Birthday AR RAHMAN❤️ Dear AR Rahman Sir, Growing up, I've always had an inhibition towards Western and English music or rather had very little exposure to those. All the music around me, be it on the TVs, radios, or the phones, contained only of the Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil songs from the 80s to the 2010s. I did spend many hours trying to get addicted to Western music, but somehow wasn't able to glue on to that and always had an insecurity in front of my friends in that aspect. I must have been 11 or 12 when I seriously started following you. I went deeper into your older songs thanks to the old cassettes of my father and later Internet and YouTube. Ever since then I've always had your music around me most times through my phone and the YouTube jukeboxes. Thanks to that, all the insecurities I had went away just because of you. You made me realize that it is not a bad thing to be a die hard fan of Ouseppachan, Vidyasagar, Illayaraja, other legends and above all yourself. Both your soothing melodies as well as the high energy peppy numbers did made me love you and your music. Now I'm more than proud of my music taste and playlists and hardly have any insecurities, all thanks to you one man. Thank You for glowing light on our lives in the times of darkness. Thank you for giving us all the magical soundtracks from Roja to Sarvam Thaalamayam. Thank you for giving us the best years of our lives with your association with the great Mani Ratnam. Thank you for making me a fan of all those amazing singers out there from SPB to Bamba Bakya.Thank you for revolutionizing Indian BGMs. Thank you for giving me my ringtones which have always been your songs from Pachai Nirame to the Swades theme.Thank you for making India shine on the international musical scenario with all those great awards. Thank you for inspiring many a people like me and may you continue to do that for eternity. Thank you for existing and making our lives beautiful. Yours Musically, A fan till I breathe my last❤️ #arrahman #happybirthdayarrahman #arrahmanbgm #fanboyforlife #mozartofmadras #thebestever #ManiRatnam https://www.instagram.com/p/BsSURNaBJ3F/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1edvos3v1vyty
