BACKGROUND: Orion was born in Walmea, Hawaii on September 12th 1964. He lived there for twenty one years until he moved Babylon to work as an English teacher. He got tired of living in the same place, he needed the change of scenery and something about Texas intrigued him. After a couple of years of living here he feels like this truly was the home he had been looking for all along. Not that he hated Hawaii but he felt like the island life wasn't for him. But it didn't take him all that long to notice that this town was anything but ordinary. He was one time stalked by what he later found out to be a vampire. That experience opened his eyes to the supernatural and to the city as a whole. The supernatural have now become a part of his everyday life. The only thing that matters to Orion Anderson is the safety of his loved ones.

                                             WELCOME TO  PRIDE, 2018  IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK !  

          step off begins at  12 O’CLOCK  noon,  so if you’re not in the parade,  make sure to get to  7TH AVENUE AND 16TH STREET  early if you want good spots !  pride is the celebration of  YOU,  the city’s  DIFFERENCES  and  SIMILARITIES.  everyone comes together to celebrate being LBGTQA+ or allies of them and it’s history,  and you’re invited to participate in the event.  festivities will start on the  24th,  but of course there will be surrounding shops,  restaurants,  and café’s participating in pride as well !   

           we highly suggest taking the  SUBWAY  to and from pride,  simply because what  SANE  person would do anything else ?  it may be hot,  sweaty,  stinky,  and confined underground  -  but  every  new yorker knows it’s the way to get to places in new york city !  

THE PLOT DROP

      you didn’t think it’d be  just  the parade though,  did you ?  no,  no;  this is a post thanos world,  and thing’s are brewing !  the night  BEFORE  the day of pride,  gas  was released into  all  of the subway systems and train cars,  which will linger for the next week or so.  this gas is a  MEMORY INDUCER;  meaning the people who have no memories ?  well,  prepare for a  harsh  recollection of your past within the next few weeks.

EVENT DETAILS / SPECIFICATIONS

as obvious,  the event is focused around pride and nyc’s pride parade.  feel free to  READ UP  on it  here  on the official website,  if you want to get your bearings around ic.

the  event  will start at  7PM CST ON JUNE 22ND  and last all week, ending 12AM CST ON JUNE 29TH.  this will last for the week,  but can be extended if needed. you can still wrap up your event based threads after this date but please do not start any new threads !

the gas  will  effect every memory loss character that takes the subway regardless of how short their trip might be  (  which we assume is most if not all  ! ) ;�� but members are free to choose  WHAT  their characters remember,  IF  they’re with anyone,  HOW MUCH  exposure and time it takes for the memories to come.  BUT,  after the end of the event,  characters should begin remembering their past life,  and the gas is what triggers it.

your character do not  have  to get their memories back at pride;  the festivities large number’s of people in the same place are simply the reason due to why the gas is released.  your character can go to the subway and get exposed at anytime within the week.

there will be a chance for people with  MEMORIES / WORKING WITH THE GOVERNMENT  to investigate and run research on the gas released.  this should give characters a chance to  work together  with different fandoms and characters they may not interact with beforehand.  please  MESSAGE THE MAIN  if you’d like your character to be on any of the teams below !
