Re: Naruto's physique and fitness routine
Tumblr media
Time for weird fringe meta posts from Madd again. So broadly speaking, the anime and manga both simplify most examples of physique in the Naruto series, this makes sense as both productions were subject to crunch, and the physique of many characters was rarely a matter of detail.
Tumblr media
But y'all know I'm a tad on the weird side so I'm going to talk about it.
Among animanga it's not entirely uncommon for a MC to be the "median" physically among the cast. Not too tall, not too short, not too big, not too thing. Unless possessing a specific quality is pertinent to their character, often through the narrative, such as Sena in Eyeshield 21 or Gon in hiatusXhiatus, it's rarely deviated from.
Accordingly, most drawings of Naruto's body are never showing anything exceptional as a young adult, although the anime (and manga towards the end) did portray him as a chubby kid he had a tendency to thin out before 13. If you want to know the source of this info it is found in Naruto 538.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This means that shinobi training, or at least the kind we know Naruto to get up to based on his training menus in both pieces of media, are very cardio intensive, as well he probably simply lost the weight. Though this weight loss is more than apparent, his physique on the anime side is a bit inconsistent and undetailed. Referring to the images towards the top of this post of the senjutsu training vs. what follows here:
Tumblr media
Basically no toning lines defining or suggesting the muscles in his abdomen, which are definitely tones per above and here
Tumblr media
Overall this is a good reference point. Throughout Shippuden, Naruto's build is definitely thin, but developed, so wiry would probably be the shorthand. It's evident that he can achieve significant physical feats both with and without chakra, consistent with a character who does a lot of calisthenics.
Being that Naruto is 5'6" tall during the Shippuden databooks (data on further physical growth uncertain after age 16/17ish but likely) it becomes apparent that this is probably a baseline build for most shinobi who are capable at taijutsu, but not strictly specialized, with an emphases on agility. Contrary to popular fandom perception, though Naruto's actual hitting style and close-up tactics tend to not be pretty, he is agile and mostly is mobile throughout a fight, particularly when employing the use of his shadow clones. A decent example can be found in ED 15.
youtube
Though he's adaptive through it depending on his opponent, the fact is that his style is pretty "hard" with a key emphasis on moving explosively and staying within striking range of his opponent. It's why her pursues his opponent even when dodging, and really only modulates his firing range against Tenten who is armed with a bo. We know it's a hard style, particularly when fighting Lee, as it's practically identical. One could probably call this "Strong Fist lite" as he's not employing any of the inherently exhausting techniques that require him to leap and flash step distances, but it's still tiring to stay that mobile even after four brief spars.
Seeing as it's not that different from what Konohamaru uses, and Naruto has the access, it's fair to assess that this is a pretty common style of fighting in Konoha, and thus a body that's optimal to use it is consistent among characters like Naruto and Lee who have these body types (and to a degree Konohamaru who does develop a similar build in adulthood).
Overall a body type that is compact and flexible is what we can extrapolate a detailed design of Naruto to be having. Particularly, while sleight, Naruto's shoulders are on the slightly broad side compared to other men who engage in this fashion of training, inheriting a slightly wideset nature from his Uzumaki family (pictured: his ancestor) and his mother, who was frequently compared to a tomato as a girl, and has more of a pear or rectangular shape to her body. This would probably also extend to his middle too, meaning he probably wouldn't develop an "inverted triangle" but rather more trapezoidal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Overall I'm operating under the assumption that Naruto, beyond age 15, starts to develop some serious definition, though the mass doesn't start to become impressive until 17. Beyond that point, his mass never becomes offputtingly heavy, as maintenance of a body that is quick enough to conduct his style of taijutsu is necessary. Stylistically I would compare it to real-life De Niro or Lee, rather a point somewhere between them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So overall, I think Naruto's actual regiment/menu as an adult includes:
-Taijutsu Sparring (when he can get it) -Weighted Free-Running Cardio around Konohagakure (at least an hour on an optimal day, but most days will go for roughly 20 km/12 miles per day) -Muscle Group-Targeted Weight Lifting (Based on day but has specific days for arms, chest, back, and legs) -10x10 calisthenics (pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, squats) on a light day -15x10 calisthenics on a moderate day -20x10 calisthenics on a heavy day -10x100 punches on a heavy bag (still dressed like Kakashi)(Weight supplemented on leg and back days) -Meditation (15 minutes on a heavy day, 20 minutes on a moderate day, 30 minutes on a light day, 5/10/15 minutes practicing senjutsu meditation) -Practice Ninjutsu (30 minutes minimum, rounds up remaining time until training completion depending on the day)
Naruto's general training block in a day can range from 4-6 hours, though he will do 8 hours for an especially intense experience when he is a young adult and more or less doing only missions.
That's the post ig, have a good day!

How to tell apart dominant from auxiliary Fi? Is it really about close-minded vs I'll-try-anything-once? I think I'm a core 4, which confuses me more.
Tbh, it is much more simple than people think, if we talk about standard development l--- PeFi (ExFP) vs FiPe (IxFP). When it becomes blurry is if you account for the fact divergent developments exist, such as ll-- (both Ji and Pe conscious) and ll-l (introvert or extrovert heavy, despite the lead energetic).
So, let assume we talk about the standard development. Pe lead is not necessarily about trying everything once but it does have the mindset of exploration, which means it will focus on possibilities, opportunities and novelty in general. As a perception function, it also implies a fluid mindset as in having a kind of relativistic perspective on things. It doesn't discriminate the value of the object. It is what it is, and the Pe lead will rather toy with it as a mean to explore the form and contour of the given object. It exploits possibility for the sake of it, when on Pe is on its own.
Ji on the other hand is a Judgement function, so it cares about discrimining objects. The core process of this function is about definition, so to define, refine and precise. It wants to find the core value of the given objects. It leads to much more reserved, meticulous and perfectionistic traits in an individual. However, I wouldn't say it is close-minded, quite the contrary. Ji is perfectionistic to a fault. It wants to reach the "truth" of the object, therefore it will want to consider any details they could have missed. It sure is more categoric than a Pe lead will be, but its goal is to reach a sort of perfection, so if presented a new information, it will want to ponder on it to either discard or refine the present definition/category.
So, in term of distinction, Ji leads are much more reserved, meticulous, perfectionistic even, and over all careful, while Pe leads are much more curious, novelty seeking, restless and open ended in their view of things.
But then, as I mentioned, the lines can blur rapidly. Nonethelessly the ll-- dev exists, but in general, someone can value a function and modulate it without having integrated the function fully. So, a FiPe could totally have a fixation on their Pe and be much more daring and spontaneous than a l--- would be, and a PeFi could have a fixation on Ji and be more careful, pondered and overall show a restrain a l--- Pe lead wouldn't.
In the end, both those set of traits can coexist in an individual, making it difficult to parse through psychology alone what is leading in the psyche. Though, what I mentioned about Ji and Pe is what distinguish them the most. But as I said, it's not black or white and they usually bleed into each other, depending on the openness the person has toward their auxiliary function or even other functions.
On top of this, being a 4 core usually correlates somewhat with a focus on Ji, especially Fi. So, the chance of you being PeFi ll-- is higher or at least, you probably value some fair bit Fi and may modulate it if it's not integrated. Remember Pe is not just about doing reckless stuff, it's simply about seeking novelty and wanting to explore, which can apply to exploring the mind and concepts. I know this is not what will help you the most, but I'd rather mention it so you take into account why it can be so confusing.
I hope it can still help you some bit into distinguishing them. Don't hesitate to ask other questions or ask for precision as needed.

Google Pixel 9 Pro: Unveiling the Future of Smartphones
Tumblr media
Flagship satellite-enabled Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will utilize Samsung 5G modems.
Two-way satellite messaging will be the focus of the Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro’s new Exynos 5400 5G modem.
Google’s Pixel line has had modem issues since switching to semi-custom Tensor chipsets in 2021. Android Authority reports that the Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro will include Samsung’s Exynos 5400 5G modem, which may fix those concerns. This baseband chip is expected to run faster and use less power than the Exynos 5300 in prior Pixel models, while the specifics were not published.
Stability should improve when the software stack was updated. The Exynos 5400 is best known for supporting 3GPP Release 17, which allows 5G satellite-based communication. Google is reportedly developing a “Satellite SOS” feature for Pixel phones. The company’s partnership with T-Mobile, which introduced the infrastructure with SpaceX, will enable this.
The Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro enable satellite connectivity, but the link will only allow text-based communication not phone conversations. A “Satellite Gateway” app’s “Emergency SOS” feature makes emergency calls easy. We anticipate that this feature will be activated in the event that a Pixel 9 or Pixel 9 Pro owner finds themselves stranded or faces imminent danger. We hope Google keeps working on this project since, unlike previous Google initiatives, it has the potential to save a lot of lives.
The Tensor G4 chipset from Google will be included in the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, which is another update not included in the article. It has been revealed that the new silicon will be produced with FOWLP, or “Fan out Wafer Level Packaging,” contrary to earlier reports that it would only be a slight improvement over the Tensor G3. For those who are unaware, Samsung’s Exynos 2400 is powered by the same technique, which uses more I/O connections to allow electrical data to flow through the chipset more quickly and effectively.
Because of its heat-resistant packaging, the Tensor G4 can operate at greater multi-core performance levels because its temperature can be regulated. This will be viewed as a welcome update to the Tensor G4, especially in light of the numerous reports of the Tensor G3 overheating. It might even be the main factor driving the surge in sales of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.
Disclosed Renders of the Google Pixel 9 Pro show a smaller display and a revised camera module.
Google Pixel 9 Pro specs The Google Pixel 9 Pro is expected to go on sale this autumn. They get a sneak peek at the potential design of the Pixel 9 Pro months in advance. The Pixel 9 Pro‘s tiny bezels and smooth edges give it a more compact appearance overall. In October of last year, Google unveiled the flagship Pixel 8 series. They anticipate the next Pixel phones this time around as well, which should include at least two Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro versions. They already have a leak on the Pixel 9 Pro since it’s never too early to speak about phones that will likely be released months ahead of schedule. Google Pixel 9 Pro renderings and 360-degree video released show what appears to be the design of the upcoming Google flagship. The collaboration between OnLeaks and MSP produced these renders of the Pixel 9 Pro. It provides a fair peek at the potential design of the phone and what to anticipate from the upcoming Google flagship. The 6.5-inch punch-hole camera on a flat display is reportedly a feature of the Pixel 9 Pro. This would be less in size than the 6.8-inch screen of the Pixel 8 Pro. In contrast to the Pixel 8 Pro, which has curved sides, the phone appears relatively small yet has narrow bezels and flat corners. The Pixel phone appears wider because to this design, which has flat corners similar to the iPhone 15. The USB-C connector, speaker grille, and SIM card slot are located at the bottom of the device, with the power button and volume keys visible on the right side. A smaller camera island is another minor redesign for the back cameras. The camera module now better tucks in the sensors rather to spreading to both sides of the phone. It continues to resemble the earlier models in thickness. As to the source, the Pixel 8 Pro will have three rear cameras: Telephoto, wide angle, and periscope. As with each Pixel iteration, Google will improve the cameras, though it’s too early to tell. Although this was our first glimpse at the Pixel 9 Pro, there are still many unanswered questions. However, information about the upcoming Pixel generation should be released soon. Key Specs Google Tensor G3 | 12 GBProcessor 6.1 inches (15.49 cm)Display 108 MP + 50 MP + 16 MPRear camera 24 MPSelfie camera 5500 mAhBattery Google Pixel 9 Pro Price
Although there hasn’t been an official release date for the Google Pixel 9 Pro, pricing ranges have been speculated about and leaked. This is what I discovered:
About $1,135 USD is the anticipated beginning price. [This price is based on April 15, 2024, conversion rates.] Depending on the area and storage capacity, prices may change.
Pixel 9 pro release date The release date of the Pixel 9 Pro has not yet been formally confirmed by Google, but the following is what we know based on previous release patterns and rumours:
Release expected late 2024, maybe October 2024.
Pixel phones normally debut in October, save for the Pixel 5, which comes in 2020 due to the pandemic. Some sources propose an announcement on May 14, 2024, even if the confirmed release is probable later in the fall.

Plants, Vol. 13, Pages 861: Insights into the Transcriptional Reprogramming of Peach Leaves Inoculated with Taphrina deformans
The dimorphic fungus Taphrina deformans is the causal agent of peach leaf curl disease, which affects leaves, flowers, and fruits. An #RNA-seq approach was employed to gain insights into the transcriptional reprogramming of a peach cultivar during leaf inoculation with the yeast phase of the fungus across a compatible interaction. The results uncovered modulations of specific peach differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in peaches and pathways related to either the induction of host defense responses or pathogen colonization and disease spread. Expression profiles of DEGs were shown to be highly time-dependent and related to the presence of the two forms of the fungal growth, the inoculated yeast form and the later biotrophic phase during mycelial development. In parallel, this differential reprogramming was consistent with a diphasic detection of fungal load in the challenged leaves over the 120 h after inoculation (HAI) period. Leaf defense responses either occurred during the early yeast phase inoculation at 24 HAI, mediated primarily by cell wall modification processes, or more pronouncedly during the biotrophic phase at 72 HAI, as revealed by the activation of DEGs related to pathogen perception, signaling transduction, and secondary metabolism towards restraining further hypha proliferation. On the contrary, the expression patterns of specific DEGs at 120 HAI might further contribute to host susceptibility. These findings will further allow us to elucidate the molecular responses beyond the peach—T. deformans interaction. https://www.mdpi.com/2223-7747/13/6/861?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=tumblr
