Some comparisons between the Manga panel and the Anime. I noticed Falin has a less...feral? Look to her eyes in the anime.
Along with them actively cutting to Marcille and Shuro compared to them just being a small reaction in the corner. (Not saying I prefer one method of showing the reactions to the other, just an interesting choice that does alter the energy of the moment.)

Due to the monochrome color pallete of Slay the Princess, we actually missed out on a crucial detail that would help explain a fair amount of the Witch's character. She is an orange furred cat-girl.

Psst...hey Dunmeshi fans. Yeah you....should I write some Falin X Marcille content? If so....
Cause all three have emotional and spicy possibilities. (Tagging this with Dungeon Meshi Spoilers for the anime watchers who don't know.)

You think the reason why prisoner non talkative is because she’s horrible at lying like witch and razor?
....that is an angle I never thought about. Cause her reaction to you bringing up the fact you died is to say "Oh, are we talking about that." Cause she want's to try and outsmart whatever has you both stuck like this in the loops.
She might be trying to keep her own mouth shut specifically to prevent any details from slipping. I like it.

Supergiant has the opportunity to do something hilarious and great at the same time. In mythology, Aphrodite is married to Hephaestus but cheats on him with Ares.....however.....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you make Hephaestus refer to Ares as "Our Boyfriend" in dialogue with Aphrodite. I will sing that games praises all the way from Mount Olympos, Greece. To Olympus Mon, Mars!

Took one glance at the Amazon trailer and got exactly what I was worried about. This ghoul is barely seasoned! Even the fallout 4 ghouls had more visible wear and tear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These two are from New Vegas and Fallout 3 respectively. And they are a showcase of what ghoulification in the lore is, extreme radiation poisoning. They look diseased and damaged on purpose.

Blacktabby games....why does Deconstructed have the intro you gave the Spooky bitches! (Nightmare, Wraith, Burned Grey, Spectre)
What are you implying about this absolute Cardboard Cutout of a vessel?

Was there an older popularity poll for the Chapters/vessels for Slay the princess? Like posted by the devs. Or did that not happen?

The fact this is what Heart (what I am calling the Vessel at the Heart of Shifty) says if you met Adversary first....Damn I like the new content.

The Tower is one of the most straightforward of the Princess Variations. She is a result of you attacking the Princess and then surrendering, instead of fighting to the bitter end. She takes the time to kneel upon your throat and express her disappointment at finding an equal in you as the Player dies. This feeling of no one being her equal, as the Player is so far the only person she has ever encountered, leads into a God complex. The perspective and size of the cabin when you enter it help enforce the feeling of smallness, of weakness, as you approach her. She is massively tall and her crown is now altered to form a halo around her head, this combined with the backdrop of her being framed in an aura of light from the window, helps convey the visual themes of divinity and power.

Another way that this theme is enforced is by her ability to make options greyed out. Something only one other variation (The Nightmare) is capable of doing. This helps further enforce that she is actually capable of bending the world and even the Player to some extent to her will.
Tumblr media
Her themes of domination control are unsubtle, but they do run deep. She will constantly refer to the player as her "little bird" and will show immediate anger at any deviation to what she commands.
This is Part 1, Part 2 will be in the reblogs.

If the Narrator (or some echo of him) managed to spawn into being after the ending of the game. But without the power to control or influence events....I think there would be three...well four....different types of reactions.
Damsel would be nice to him.
Most of the Voices and Vessels would simply ignore him.
Some would actively resent/hate him.....
And then there would be Shifty's reaction.
Tumblr media
Long Quiet and Hero would have to hold her physical form back from deleting him on the spot. No conversations, no questions, just on sight homocide of the poor birdman.

Random headcanon for Slay the Princess.
With how Adversary brings up "Psycho analyzing" her. I love the idea she is actually super technically minded and well read, to the same degree as Tower. Meaning every now ans then she will drop some high conceptual idea in a conversation amd catch the voices and other vessels off gaurd.

Proposition to the StP community.
I keep seeing people meme on the Narrator for being afraid of death....but maybe I love sci-fi and Astronomy too much. Because that's not what I interpreted it as. I went to a way bigger scale since Shifty is supposed to be change itself.
I think he was living in a world on the verge of cosmic collapse, aka a man with the knowledge in only a few generations he and his people would be watching the final act on all the stars going dark, the galaxies flying further and further apart, and the core of his planet slowly growing cold.
Is this anything?
