Y/N wasn't planning on coming to England and yet fate saw that she did around the same time as her brother, the pair were coming to visit their father, Liverpool's manager Jรผrgen Klopp - it was a pleasant and lovely surprise, with Y/N working as a popular sculptor, and her brother playing football, they rarely get time to see their father and when they did, it was through her father that she meet the absolute sweetest person in the entire world, Mohammed Salah.
The Egyptian player was the star of Liverpool and someone her father valued a lot, which in her eyes made sense as to why she felt drawn to him.
They started chatting through text messages, which was steady and nice, unlike her past relationship which felt rushed and intended for one reason only - you see, Y/N honored herself and that extended to her faith, she firmly believed that you only love one person in your life time, and that is the person that you give yourself to wholeheartedly, and through the weeks of chatting with Mohammed, she realized that he was the only one she wanted to spend the rest of her life.
Her father was hesitant at first when she told him that she's in love, however when she informed him of who the person she loved was; he had given them his blessings, effectively paving the way for a beautiful bond to form.
On one afternoon, Mohammed suggested a stroll through the city center, both of them were disguised which facilitated their stroll and concealed their identity from any nosy individual; they spent the time chatting about their childhood and upbringing, Y/N began recounting why she became a sculptor.
" I loved football, don't get me wrong and I played but deep down I knew that my brother was better than me, and when I saw a video about sculptures, it was then that I realized what I wanted " Y/N beams.
" I have seen some of your photos, they're very unique " Mohammed smiles.
Y/N giggles, " more like strange but thank you "
" I do have to ask though " Mohammed pulls up his phone to show her a picture, " What is this supposed to resemble? because all I see is a figure that looks like he's either dancing or has a really bad muscle strain, reminded me of your father " he adds jokingly.
Y/N covered her mouth as she laughed, he had referred to the infamous moment in which her father celebrated Diogo Jota's late goal against Tottenham in which he infamously pulled a hamstring.
They continue their stroll, Mohammed cracking jokes about general topics and nonsensical things which elicited giggles from Y/N - " If my father hears you, he'll most likely reconsider keep you in the starting eleven "
" If it managed to make you laugh then I don't mind " Mohammed shrugs with a smile.
Y/N looks away, hoping that he didn't see her blushing yet judging from his expression, he most likely did.
He suddenly stopped by a small stand which contained several displayed pieces of jewelry, Y/N looks at him. " what? "
Mohammed smiles, " choose one "
Y/N's brows furrowed in confusion, " what? "
" Y/N " Mohammed laughs, " choose one necklace "
Y/N smiles then gestures to the crescent necklace, Mohammed paid for it then he handed her the small bag. " A gift for the sweetest girl "
" Aww Mo, thank you " Y/N beams.
" No need to " Mohammed smiles.
They take a stroll near the docks and stop to enjoy the beautiful weather when Mohammed asks her, " Do you think about settling down in the future? "
Y/N's heart raced at the question, as she responds with a shaky voice. " Yes, I had one relationship and it ended because he did not respect my desire of wanting to save myself until marriage "
Mohammed nods in understanding, " I respect that, so what are you looking for in a future husband? "
Y/N smiles, " An understanding man, someone who is supportive, someone that respects me the way I would respect them, and someone that I can be myself around "
There was a brief break of silence before Mohammed decided to say, " Am I that person? "
Y/N's smile widened, " Yes "
" Good " Mohammed smiles, " Because you are that person for me too, and I can see a life with you, a good life "
Y/N may have once believed that there were no good people left, but Mohammed had been able to restore her faith, and further capture her heart.
