My favorite plot trope of all time is a friends to lovers hurt/comfort, my touch starved ass cant get enough of it 😣😣😣 i have a bunch of favorite dymamics tho including bastard+sweet bean, bastard+bastard, idiot+'fuck thats my idiot', and of course dumbass+dumberass. You can pick whichever of these you like best or something else entirely, im not picky

I may be a might stupid. I tend to blab on and on about stupid things that interest me and try to make fun of it as much as possible cause i just like making my friends laugh. Pretty much everything i do is to try and entertain, i draw stupid little comic characters for friends, sing silly songs and abuse my ukulele doing so, and I'll do pretty much anything you tell me to on a dare. I also tend to walk around with the blinders on so I'm forgetful and accident prone. Ive accidentally stepped in traffic MULTIPLE times. And im VERY forgetful when it comes to how much caffeine ive drunk in a day. (I once almost had 4 whole monsters in the span of 2 hours)

I also dress like a poor mans riot grrl band while simultaneously collecting cheap stuffed animals to cover my bed with.

AZUMANE asahi as the main lead : he’s the one will listen to you blab on about everything that interests you, no matter how mundane or stupid you think they may be. asahi listens to you even when you don’t think anyone is — a small smile playing on his lips, nothing but complete adoration in his yes. he watches in awe as you play your ukulele, keeps the little drawings you give him in his wallet or in between the pages of his notebook. asahi’s the one who will pull you back each time you step into oncoming traffic, keeping his eyes on you and admiring the view. problem is he could never find it in himself to tell you how he feels.

TANAKA ryunosuke as the second lead : your partner in crime, the one who bought you those four cans of monster that you drank in two hours. while asahi’s busy watching you play your ukulele, tanaka’s singing right beside you — never giving you anything but his absolute best, making a full performance out of it. over the years, he’s tried to drop a few hints on just how much you mean to him. what a shame you’ve never really picked up on them.

[ series synopsis ] three friends, y/n, asahi, and tanaka, wonder if there are ways to pursue love without ever risking friendship. they’re getting their answer much sooner that they would have liked.

the pilot ep : y/n finally begins to notice how asahi acts differently around him compared to the rest of their friends. unfortunately, he is yet to pick up on someone else’s advances. the mid-season ep : y/n confides in tanaka about his growing feelings for asahi, breaking tanaka’s heart in the process. the series finale : tanaka must decide if he should advise y/n to pursue asahi, or choose to be selfish this time around.

a song from the ost : skipping stones by mutual benefit “ in solitude we're often chased by the truths we are afraid to face ” …plays during the scene where y/n realizes his growing feelings for asahi, the instrumental plays as he confides in tanaka.

INT. ASAHI’S ROOM - LATE AFTERNOON

Y/N sits on the edge of ASAHI’s bed, seemingly nervous. He’s biting his bottom lip, eyes darting at each and every section of their friend’s room : the volleyball sitting in the corner, the mirror by the wooden door, the closet near the windows, a soft breeze blows through the curtains. The muffled sound of their foot tapping against the carpeted floor fill the air, the silence is practically palpable, but no one dare speak a word.

ASAHI’s more tense than usual, it’s not everyday that the person he likes asks if they can come over — and on such short notice too. He takes a deep breath, this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve hung out together. He should relax, breathe, stop staring at the seams of his shirt’s sleeve. This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve hung out together, but it would be the first time they’ll be hanging out alone. Just the two of them.

ASAHI So you wanted me to talk to me about something?

Y/N (looks up, nodding) Yeah, um…

He doesn’t know how to bring it up. Y/N pauses, letting several beats pass as they try to come up with the words to say. Does he just come out and say it? Hey, I’ve noticed that you look at me more than the rest of our friends. And when I look back at you, you look away. What’s up with that? Y/N shakes his head, that was much too forward. His eyes travel around the room once more, to a section on the wall with familiar pieces of paper taped on it.

Y/N (narrows eyes, recognizing it after a few seconds) Are those the drawings that I gave to you?

ASAHI Yeah, I keep them. (rubbing a hand on the back of his neck) There’s a few in my notebook and one’s in my wallet. They’re nice…(pauses, eyebrows raise) wait, did you want them back? Is that why you’re here?

Y/N No! Keep them, I gave them to you so it’s fine…just didn’t expect that you’d actually keep ‘em.

ASAHI Of course I did.

Y/N (looks around once more, gaze lands on a small bear plushie tucked near ASAHI’s pillows) That’s cute.

ASAHI ...You can have it if you want.

Y/N W-what? No! I couldn’t possibly—

ASAHI (cuts him off) It’s fine, you’ve given me so much anyways. Besides, I just got that from a little crane machine a couple of days ago. I don’t really have an attachment to it or anything.

Y/N You sure?

ASAHI Of course.

[ FLASHBACK to A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO : Asahi is walking back his house and passes by a crane machine. The small plushies catches his eye, reminded of a conversation he had with Y/N about stuffed animals. He checks his pockets for some loose change; ASAHI has enough for a few games]
