ooc ; i have three cats, am vegeterian, mmm,,, studying graphics design & illustration. and that’s about it?? also i love enchiladas. they’re my favorite.

A fact about your muse that is not on your “about the muse” page:

ooc ; gee i have a lot of info there & i feel like it’s still heavenly in construction... although it’s mildly implied, he does suffer from a bit of ptsd in default verse. it’s hard for him to sleep, and when he does, they’re usually about yasu. more footnotes on his character is tagged in notes. his habits, quirks, fighting styles & more are noted there.

A way that you and your muse are literally the same person:

ooc ; me and him are on the quiet, observant side. he adores his family and i do mine. we’re also generally indifferent to those who do not matter.

A way that you and your muse are complete polar opposites:

ooc ; the way we show our appreciation to family. he’s a bit mean to others though lol. uhm, he doesn’t let insults get to him but if it were me, i’d start crying in a heartbeat. i’m way more sensitive and indecisive than he is when it deals with responsibilities.

One major pet peeve of yours (doesn’t have to be RP-related):

ooc ; ppl who are close minded, they’re so stubborn & don’t give a chance to think other wise. i don’t waste my time with them. uhm, also for rping, i’m always on the iffy side when a rp blog who majorly writes smut approaches me. i just tend to make a disclaimer w them that smut isn’t a focal point i concentrate on w suen.

One thing that always makes you happy (doesn’t have to be RP-related)

ooc ; my cats & bonding time with my siblings. i also like when i get compliments from my artwork and greatly appreciate any constructive criticism that goes to it. this goes to my writing as well! i love it when the person i replied an ask to reblogs it & puts it in their saved tag. i feel as if my effort to convey a story or feeling was really understood by them. doesn’t have to be a rb either. a like & comment makes me all smiles too. i also get really happy when my friends/siblings remember little details i’ve told them. when they take the time to gift me something that relates to artwork whether is be sketchbooks, reference books, sharpeners, etc. expensive big gifts aren’t my thing but if they’re thoughtful, even if small, i’ll love it!

3. how long have you been aware of your sexuality/identity?

Uhh, okay, lemme put it this way: I was not aware of sexuality as a general concept until about two years ago. As in, I understood what it was, but I didn’t ever think about it in the context of relating to me - because I didn’t feel that, more or less (this was just me being asexual and not knowing that existed, though). I didn’t know anyone openly gay (actually, this was around the time that a bunch of my friends came out, which was part of my new awareness) and I was mildly uncomfortable with it - not from a “I think that’s not okay” perspective, but from the perspective of someone who had literally never been exposed to that sort of thing. I didn’t have an issue with it, but I didn’t know if I was supposed to “handle” it somehow, or speak about it a certain way.

Yeah, that didn’t last too long, because my wonderful girlfriend sort of opened my eyes to asexuality, and it became very clear to me that I fit that description. It was nothing short of amazing to actually realize that I didn’t have to “grow up and get interested in someone” the way my mom always assured me I would. Even better was the realization that I had the freedom to date whoever I wanted. Lucky me, my amazing girlfriend is also ace, so I didn’t need to worry about finding someone who was okay with the asexuality thing.

5. share a positive memory about coming out!

I casually dropped it in conversation with a couple friends - didn’t say “By the way I’m gay” or anything, but just mentioned the word “girlfriend” and they just rolled with it and occasionally asked about her. The real positive memory was maybe… six months ago, give or take - a friend of mine had said she was a lesbian, and had been dating women, but came to me and admitted privately that she thought she might be asexual and she’d gotten the impression, from the way I’d phrased things before, that I might also be. It was a really amazing experience to be able to bond over that discovery, because we had already known each other for years so it was like a whole new facet of ourselves to discuss and compare.

9. do you feel pride in who you are?

I mean, I really, really hate myself, so no, but that doesn’t have anything to do with my sexuality.

17. what’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to lgbtqa characterization in media?

- Straight Till Proven Gay - unless a character’s development is entirely focused on how gay they are, they have a distinct coming-out moment, or they’re shown making out with someone of the same sex, every character is pretty much assumed to be straight.- No asexuals - or no confirmed asexuals; part of that is the whole straight-till-proven-gay thing, because if there’s no evidence towards a character being straight or gay, not many people think, “Hey, maybe it’s neither!”

22. what’s an absolute turn on for you in the opposite/same sex?

Gonna go with “nothing” because if I saw an actual person doing any of the things I consider turn-ons, I would probably no longer consider them turn-ons.

24. how do you feel about the term “queer”?

Honestly? I literally cannot answer this. I have never heard anyone use it in my day-to-day life - never heard anyone identify as queer and never heard it used as a slur (and this could be due to the fairly LGBTQA-friendly area I live in, or due to the fact that I only became a part of that community a couple years ago). I have exactly no real context for the word beyond what I’ve seen online, and even that has been so rare that I still really can’t form an opinion on it.

30. what is your romantic affiliation?

Homoromantic 100%. Could not date a guy. Nothing against them, just definitely couldn’t date them. Honestly wouldn’t ever have thought about it as a possibility for me if it hadn’t been shoved in my face that That Is “““Normal.”””
