Fastest and slowest marriage to baby #1
who was the fastest having a baby after marriage and who the slowest?
Paul and Christian Caldwell (222 days, probably already pregnant on weddingday)
Jonathan and Kaylee Hill (242 days, Gideon was born early)
Evan and Carlin Stewart (251 days)
Austin and Joy Forsyth (273 days)
Joseph and Kendra Duggar (273 days)
Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar (274 days)
Kelton and Josie Balka (287 days)
Mike and Suzette Keller (288 days)
Derick and Jill Dillard (289 days)
Jeremiah and Allison Helferich (293 days)
Only three new couples in this list. And the Duggars are over represented with four couples in this list.
A harsher list because a lot of these couples had trouble conciving.
Andrew and Kori Wissmann (2669 days)
Nathan and Melanie Maxwell (1880 days)
JimBob and Michelle Duggar (1321 days, used BC)
Alan and Rachel Busenitz (1305 days)
Jesse and AnnaPatrice Maxwell (1155 days)
Daniel and Bethany Beasley (858 days)
Steve and Teri Maxwell (841 days)
Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo (621 days, used BC)
Christopher and AnnaMarie Maxwell (589 days)
Marlin and Becky Bontrager (570 days)
An almost complete new list with only two 'old' couples.

Note—An asterisk (*) indicates a Firstborn Spacing based on a loss. These couples' 1st Live Birth also contributes to their data; however, as a Post–Loss Spacing, rather than a Firstborn Spacing.
Some couples don't have a Marriage–to–Firstborn Spacing listed. In these cases it's because—(1) they have not announced Pregnancy #1 yet, or (2) they had fertility struggles prior to Baby #1.

This is just a suggestion and feel free to ignore! Something I think would be helpful would be to include at the top of your "Fundies and Adjacent I Follow" type posts a summary of what makes them fundie or adjacent. I haven't heard of the majority of them, so I can't tell if it's a friend of the Duggars, someone with a blog that spouts hate in the name of Christianity, a vlogging family, or just a random family that just so happens to have a bunch of kids. Maybe for the lesser known follow up pregnancy or engagement announcements where most fundie followers would go "who is this...?" linking back to the main post? Thanks for all you do!
Fundies and Adjacent I Follow: Why are they notable (Last Names A-C)
Great Idea! I will be doing all the families I have posted by last names. I am going to start here with A-D. You can see links to all families here.

If you think about just species that are most like us -other mammals- it turns out there are about the same number of mammalian species on the planet right now as there are extant languages -in the neighborhood of six thousand, give or take 500 or so. Your life [...] won't be any different if the bumblebee bat, for example, goes extinct. But biodiversity alone, I think, makes that species worth fighting for. And -you know, I bring up the bumblebee bat because it happens to be what is likely the smallest mammal in the world, which is an interesting fact about the bumblebee bat. It's just an inch long. And it, I think, enriches us to know that such a creature exists. Likewise, I think that even if an endangered language could be said to have nothing "earth-shattering" culturally or scientifically or linguistically -to use David Harrison's three pillars- nothing "earth-shattering" to impart, it's still worth the effort to document it because it... because it honors, in a sense, the effort of the people who spent centuries or more developing it. Language is such an incredible human achievement that to so cavalierly let such an achievement go undocumented seems verging on irresponsible!
Mike Vuolo, Episode #16 of Lexicon Valley (”Our Dying Words”), aired on July 9, 2012

"Inmate Responses to Experiences With Court System Procedural and Distributive Justice"
The title of this post is the title of this recently published work authored by Mike Vuolo, Bradley Wright and Sadé Lindsay. Here is the piece's abstract and concluding paragraph:
According to criminal justice theories, perceptions of procedural and distributive justice drive opinions on fairness, subsequently affecting behavior. We contend that such perceptions also affect the emotional states of incarcerated individuals, identifying court experiences as the focus of our study. Through fieldwork at a male maximum-security prison, we find that inmates expressed negative emotional responses associated with three factors: trial, public defenders, and appeals. Participants described perceived fairness through personal comparisons to alternative procedures and outcomes often connected to socioeconomic resources and related perceptions to emotions such as frustration, regret, resentment, and hopelessness. We situate our findings within theories of fairness and inmate adjustment research....
The effects continue well beyond the prison walls, however, as incarceration has lasting effects on health (Massoglia, 2008). This study demonstrates that the court system experience warrants further examination as a source of negative emotions and, potentially, prisoner adjustment to incarceration. The three factors outlined in our research illustrate that processes and procedures, occurring both prior to and during imprisonment, had enduring effects on incarcerated persons. These aspects of the court system and the relationship to negative emotions could easily go overlooked, as prisoners’ voices are seldom heard. Our fieldwork allowed for a unique approach to studying this hard-to reach-population (Wacquant, 2002). This investigation demonstrated that such voices are important in efforts to reform certain aspects of the court system in a manner that would reduce distress and alleviate some of the negative aspects of corrections and its enduring effects. These psychological effects are all the more important as increasing numbers of prisoners return home in an era of mass incarceration.

Has any of the fundie families you track have had more than 19 children? Any you predict will have more than that?
No, they have not. Only the Duggars and Bateses have reached #19. I'm unaware of any quiverfull (QF) family that has 20+ Children. The only family I'm aware of that has that many children is the Radfords, in Britain, but they aren't QF. They have 21 [Living] Children.
Here's how many children are in each Predictor Family, from most to least—
19 Children Gil + Kelly Jo Bates, J.B. + Michelle Duggar
13 Children David + Jill Rodrigues
11 Children Courtney + Christopher Rogers (+1 On The Way)
10 Children Marlin + Becky Bontrager
9 Children Paul + Christina Caldwell
8 Children Mike + Suzette Keller, Steve + Terry Maxwell
... and, here's how many are in various adjacent families, such as In–Laws, from most to least—
14 Children George + Lisa Keyes
13 Children Loren + Gloria Wissmann
11 Children George + Laura Craig (2 Adopted), Kevin + Marie Helferich
10 Children Ron + Jillene Keilen, Charles + Tammy Paine, Dwain + Lana Swanson, Brian + Susan Waller
9 Children Curtis + Lauren Bowers
8 Children Johnny + Cheryl Burnett
7 Children Garrett + Ethel Ruark (Michelle’s Parent), Richard + Angela Kahle, Tim + Ana Maria Salyer (3 Adopted), Michael + Guinn Seewald
