when in a really dangerous / high stakes situation, an ackerman’s powers include instinctively accessing paths and for a moment gaining the experiences / strength of all past ackermans right, so what if after they figured out what being an ackerman means, hange had levi and mikasa make meditating a part of their personal training routines.

we all know neither of them would be willing to take that seriously💀 i mean mikasa would give in to an order eventually. levi would act stubborn and insist over and over that his instincts are fine and his training regiment is his own established thing and hange is full of it AND he’s not a magician or something💀💀💀 but i think he’d try in his personal time. levi seems like someone who would meditate but does not enjoy sitting still for long periods. he’d begrudgingly try while still giving hange the impression he wouldn’t be caught dead doing it.

of course, they can access paths already, especially levi (i can’t remember ever seeing mikasa entering rage state in canon butttt don’t take my word for it), but would their powers improve? wouldn’t it be easier to access their ancestors? sort of like an avatar state?????? i think yes
