One thing I noticed is just how... formal Jumin and V are with each other during the casual/deep story when compared to their interactions in another story. There's a sense of awkwardness that never really gets addressed by either of them, but that's what makes it realistic to me. Have you ever grown apart from your close friend over the years? Yeah, it looks just like this. They still care about one another, deeply and sincerely, but so many things are getting left unsaid, and they just keep piling up. It's easier to just not address them at all. Besides... you don't want to make your friend feel uncomfortable. Jumin respects Jihyun's privacy, almost to a fault. It's a shame his deep trust is not appreciated.

7. do you prefer poems or love letters?

As sappy as this is gonna sound...I think I’d prefer love letters. I’ve never been a huge fan of poems - I can respect the thought put into them, but unless they’re the basic “roses are red, violets are blue” type thing, the meanings typically fly over my head...

21. favorite dating sim (and favorite character)?

GOOOOOD this is a hard question to answer because I’ve only really played two dating sims, and I only completed one of them...The three I’m most fond of are The Arcana, Mystic Messenger and...um....Monster Prom. My top character from each was Muriel (back BEFORE he had a route sobs, I met him on Asra’s route and cried realizing he was just an npc), Zen (he may be a dramatic boi, and 707 might be the crowd favorite, but Zen’s a very soft boi and I love he), and Polly (she’s a crazy party gal, but she was the first character I pursued and thus I’ve got a soft spot for her).

I do find it interesting how prominent dreams are for Choi twins. There are multiple instances of them having dreams (or nightmares in Ray's case) that give us a glimpse into their inner thoughts or desires. Like Saeyoung always being the protective figure that saves his other half in his dreams. I don't think there ever was a moment where he dreamed of them just being happy without him needing to either help or save his brother in one way or another. Really gives you a good understanding of how he views himself.
