Victoria and Heavy Character Analysis

Heavy and Victoria are somewhat of an enigma to me. Their characters, at face value, seem very simple, but surely there has to be more complexity to it. Both are well written and seem to serve some form of comic relief for the first season of the show. We see how they interact with the other characters when in good moods or their ‘defualt/regular’ mood. However, unlike with Dee and Glam we don't get any backstory, angst, conflict, or depth to their characters in season one. I truly hope that this will be expanded on in season 2 as I feel as if these characters should (and probably do) serve a deeper more in depth purpose to this story. I also find that Glam in some ways enables Vicky’s antics. Such as in the escape room episode! Instead of being honest and letting Dee tell Vicky and Heavy that they did the quest incorrectly and committed a few crimes in the process, Glam stops Dee. This allows Victoria to believe that her actions are okay, even if it was in a situation in which they were solving an escape room and needed to come up with a way out. This raises the question, what else does Glam let Vicky believe is correct or the right way of doing things? Is he enabling her destructive behaviors? I would love to see more developement for both Vicky’s and Heavy’s characters in season 2. I want to learn about Victoria’s past and learn what Heavy struggles with. I suppose I can somewhat see that the writers are trying to contrast the stark difference of the past and struggling of Dee and Glam compared to the happy go lucky (with anger issues) character type that is Vicky and Heavy. It is a nice contrast but I believe that currently, Vicky and Heavy lack depth to their characters. I hope that this changes in season 2 and we get more than just Glam and Dee’s issues.
