12/13/14 for Tav asks
12. What opinion does your Tav have about the Gods?
Maya has a very complicated relationship with religion, because she's only really experienced it in extremes; she's endured terrible abuse in Lolth's name, but was also taken in and cared for by followers of Eilistraee who helped her find her own path and identity.
She considers herself a follower of Eilistraee, prays to her and would even say she loves her, but there's a part of her that will never really trust any god because she knows they don't really think or act the way mortals do. She's constantly prepared to feel abandoned by the gods, so there's a sort of surprised relief whenever she does pray and feel Eilistraee's presence.
13. How does your Tav feel about the wilderness?
Astrid loves it - it's why she became a ranger. Her grandmother was a wood-elf from a high ranking family in Highmoon, in the Dale Lands, and whenever she visited they would go out into the nearby forests and she felt more connected to the world there than anywhere. Her grandmother taught her to hunt and about the animals living there, helping her connect with her heritage, and as much as she likes the city Astrid still never feels more at home than when she's sleeping under the stars, surrounded by trees.
14. How does your Tav feel about the city?
Lilia finds it a bit overwhelming. She grew up in a temple at the edge of a fairly small town so she's not used to being around that many people, and she gets a bit jumpy and nervous of all the noise at first. But she also loves the excitement of it, and seeing so many different people all coming together, and she soon finds herself getting used to the pace of it. And she loves how many shops there are, and the many, many choices of clothes available.

tfw you're trying to brighten a screenshot because it's a really good angle on your tav and she ends up looking like arwen appearing to frodo after he's been stabbed on weathertop

3. Did your Tav receive any formal or informal education? If yes, how well did they learn? If no, why not?
26. Does your Tav have a treasured item with them? If yes, what is it and why is it special? If no, how do they feel about item sentimentality in general?
27. How does your Tav feel about giving and receiving orders?
For any Tav?
3. Kestrel was extensively educated for the very specific purpose of one day serving the demon Orcus. She's naturally clever so she picked things up quickly and learned well, and if she had been allowed to study just for education's sake she would have enjoyed herself a great deal, but she could never forget why she was being taught these things. She also scoured every text she could get her hands on and taught herself a lot more that her tutors ever wanted to her know in order to find a way to escape Orcus.
26. Lilia carries around a old, faded note that has a single line on it, reading: Her name is Lilia. It was the only thing that was with her when her parents (or one of them, at least) left her on the temple doorstep where she grew up and the only connection to them that she has. Every so often she takes it out and reads it again, and every time she sees something handwritten she can't help comparing the writing to it just in case she finds them again one day and get answers to the many, many questions she has about herself.
27. Maya doesn't like taking orders unless she completely trusts the person giving them. She grew up a slave, and having orders barked at her stirs up dark memories and bitter feelings, and she hates feeling like she's in someone else's power. On the flip side, it is still ingrained habit in her to follow orders, so often she'll start taking them by instinct until she stops herself.
Because of that she's not used to giving orders and finds it strange falling into a leadership role after the nautiloid. She has to force herself to do it and it definitely causes a lot of anxiety at first, especially going up against strong personalities like Lae'zel and Astarion who clearly disagree with her.
