Port Ghalib, located near Marsa Alam International Airport, is a luxurious tourist destination with opulent hotels, a bustling marina, and excellent water sports activities. The marina can hold up to a thousand substantial boats, making it a state-of-the-art port of entry into Egypt. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water sports such as kayaking, windsurfing, sailing boats and catamarans, scuba diving, snorkeling, and dolphin safaris, as well as deep-sea fishing. Port Ghalib is also child-friendly with the Lulee Kids Camp offering supervised activity programs for kids. The resort offers land-based activities such as horseback, camel, and quad biking. Day trips to the Eastern Desert by four-wheel drive or quad bike are available for those seeking adventure. Guests can visit a Bedouin town where they can ride camels, and have a barbecue supper as the sun sets over the mountains while experiencing traditional Bedouin music and entertainment.
