hi, hey, hello! it's genny. you're not-so-favorite twenty-year-old impulsive and unpredictable blog admin who worships beomgyu's legs and always declares hiatus only to come back four hours later out of boredom.

exactly one year ago today, i posted for the first time on tumblr, and joined the kpop community on here. spookybias existed since december 2019, but it wasn't until june 2020 that i posted my first fic —which for some extremely odd reason was a suggestive hyunjin blurb. don't ask. we're mostly sfw these days.

if you've been here long enough, you'd know that genny isn't my first alias. you'd also know that i was jeongin's maid and beomgyu's tutor before i started working as sunghoon's blanket folder. and you might've known about the numerous times that i was on the verge of closing this blog or deactivating entirely. sometimes it was because of a lack of interaction or one-sided beef other people on here seemed to have with me. other times it was due to intermediate sadness caused by more personal issues. a lot of the time, it was because i felt like i couldn't do it. i felt like i didn't blend in with everyone else on here, and i was insecure about the parts of my personality that i can't control. however, i always changed my mind and came back because i'm a bit arrogant, like this is MY blog what the duck—

okay, okay. i stayed thanks to a lot of people who either supported me or inspired me. just talking to someone or seeing someone's post on the dash always brought me back to the reason why i joined tumblr in the first place; to share the work i have so much fun writing and to support other content creators.

as you can see, i'm not entirely sure what i'm supposed to say. i could explain how happy being on tumblr with such amazing people makes me feel, but there aren't enough words to fully express my joy and gratitude. so, thank you so much to all of my friends, mutuals, anons, and of course, my readers. i wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for you guys making me smile and punching me in the gut with your love and support.
