Tris always thought the way Chrysi spoke sounded like music. Her own Chrysi-song, wrapped up in her lilting, amused undertones, her wicked laughs, her half-mumbled thoughts to herself. Sometimes, when he struggled to think of some new melody to write for a new album, he’d track down the old videos he had of them in high school, back when he’d push a camcorder in Chrysi’s face and annoy her into laughing.

His band mates could complain about his obsession with his high school ex all they wanted. It meant nothing when Tris managed to get them a place on the charts with it, and they all knew it.

chrysijacks. what video games do they play? how do they play them (ones a backseat gamer, one plays but is super bad, taking turns, etc)

i hold to the firm belief that jacks is incapable of playing video games. he limped through playing it takes two with chrysi, and only because she rlllllly wanted to play, but emery was out of town for two weeks.

most of the time, he watches chrysi play while he plays with the cats (ideal pet jacks 🫶🏻) & he’ll backseat game extremely hard. very funny. chrysi’s not listening to him because he doesn’t fucking know what he’s talking abt.

typically chrysi plays stuff like kh (obvi…), nitw, and nier:automata, since i jst like projecting my own fav games onto chrysi. on occasion she’ll play a choice-based game and jacks is SO annoying abt it. shut up man!!!!!!

he does!! he tries to.. well, i don’t know. he tries to kill him but he can’t bc it would make chrysi rlly rlly mad, so ??? instead he’s jst trying to incidentally get azure killed. the guy has bad luck, sooo it would make sense that he would accidentally get shot by an arrow at the archery range, right??

doesn’t work out. chrysi’s still mad at him. so he’s jst generally kinda bitchy to azure and azure does not care abt him at all.

what does azure think of jacks due to his divorce with chrysi

he does not like him!!! but unfortunately, they needed jacks’s help w a case, so azure has to work w him closely. BUT since jacks and chrysi have such a messy situation, azure’s going to take the brunt of jacks’s presence sl chrysi doesn’t get sad (or so she doesn’t punch jacks—but w how things have been going, she might jst punch him anyway. azure’s cheering her on. literally standing there while chrysi’s scratching and biting and killing jacks like
