Remember when I said I wanted Daisy in the movie verse to be made into a more "nutty" character?

Well I will rephrase that a bit. I don't want Daisy to be "nutty" per say (like Lola in modern Looney Tunes, or Dee in Philly) I want her to be more "wild", more "feral".

I want Daisy to be outspoken - like a cat that can scratch your eyes out if you wrong in any way. The type that is so free spirited and ungrounded that it intimidates others. She's the type to be ferocious if you get too close. And no one has ever been able to do that.

Except...a man in green.

I don’t know what I’m calling this yet, but it is something along the lines of Luigi falling into the warp pipe alone as a kid and taken in by shy guys (something something character foil to Peach). Along with playing around with Mr. L because I just think he’s neat.  Might draw more of this, not sure yet.

So in light of the partly disappointing Mario movie trailer, I felt the need to draw my favorite interpretation of the Mario brothers.

They’re 50% squishy, 50% anxiety, and 100% “I love my brother more than anything in the whole world and I would die for him in a heart beat”. With some “I’m so stupid in love with this super tall lady and I have no idea what to do about it” sprinkled on top. :}

I love when everyone in a community unanimously adopts a certain headcanon because it's just that good. One of my big favorites is Luigi being a mechanical expert and gifted engineer. 👏
